Awarding SJ Tech Oesol Scholarship, Phase 1, 2022

In her welcoming speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) expressed her sincere thanks to Mr. Park Sang Joo (General Director) and SJ Tech Vietnam Company for their attention and support for the university's training and scientific research activities. Over the years, Korea has also been Vietnam's most important strategic partner in many fields, including education: student and teacher exchanges, organizing scientific seminars, and awarding scholarships. We are very pleased that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - one of the leading training institutions in social sciences and humanities in Vietnam - has been selected by SJ Tech Vietnam Company as a partner to sign a cooperation agreement. Today's scholarship awarding activity has concretized that cooperation agreement. We hope that in the future, the two sides will organize more activities to elevate the relationship to a strategic partnership. The valuable support and companionship of your Company and Korean partners will be an important resource for the school's Korean Studies department to develop strongly in the coming time.
On behalf of the school's Board of Directors, Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong also congratulated the students who received scholarships this time and wished them to continue to strive for more achievements in their studies, scientific research as well as in their future work.
Speaking at the scholarship awarding ceremony, Mr. Park Sang Joo shared: I am very happy to connect the relationship between SJ Tech Vietnam Company and Oesol Foundation with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. According to the cooperation agreement signed between SJ Tech Vietnam Company and the school, we will try to implement more activities to realize this cooperation. Although the material value of the scholarship this time given to the students is not too large, I hope this gift will support the students in some way in their studies and life. Moreover, SJ Tech Vietnam Company is willing to accept students with good academic achievements if after graduation they want to work at our company. Representing the students receiving the scholarship, Tran Dieu Huyen, a student of K64 majoring in Korean Studies, expressed her deep gratitude to the school's Board of Directors, the leaders of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, the Department of Korean Studies, the leadership of SJ Tech Vietnam Company and personally General Director Park Sang Joo. Huyen emotionally shared: "When I learned that I was one of the students receiving this scholarship, I was extremely surprised and moved because it was the first time I received a valuable scholarship. This gift is truly a great source of encouragement and motivation for us. My friends and I promise to use this scholarship for meaningful work to achieve high academic achievements. At the same time, we will try to participate more in scientific research activities and community service of the school to be worthy of the attention of the SJ Tech Oesol Fund, the school, and the faculty.".
