Previously, on July 18th, students nationwide received their high school graduation exam results. Many students also received notifications of eligibility for admission from educational institutions, but they are still hesitant about prioritizing their choices for different majors and universities.
Students will have a period of time to research, learn about the information, and officially register their college application preferences on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions system before 5:00 PM on July 30, 2023. To support candidates in accessing reliable, accurate, and practical information for this crucial stage, Tuoi Tre Newspaper and the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), in coordination with relevant units, are organizing the 2023 University and College Application Preference Selection Day.
The counseling session was simultaneously livestreamed on Tuoi Tre Newspaper's online platform at Tuoitre.vn, the Tuoi Tre Newspaper YouTube channel, and the Admissions and Career Guidance Program Fanpage. In addition, many provincial and city youth unions collaborated with Tuoi Tre Newspaper to livestream today's counseling session on their own Fanpages, allowing candidates from distant locations to follow along.
At the event, parents and students can ask questions, and experts from the event's advisory board will answer them directly. In addition, parents and students can find and refer to more information from training institutions at nearly 150 booths within the framework of the event.
At the booth of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, parents and students can get an overview of the diversity of academic levels, majors, and training environments offered by the university. Here, students can meet and interact directly with experienced admissions officers and lecturers from various departments. Through this, they can learn specific information about their chosen major, the university's support policies and scholarships, opportunities for overseas study exchanges, and further education options.
This activity is part of the Admissions and Career Guidance Program implemented by Tuoi Tre Newspaper in collaboration with the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), the General Department of Vocational Education (Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs), the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, and Hanoi University of Science and Technology, with the support of Vingroup Corporation.
The program is scheduled to take place from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM on July 22, 2023.
