Dear students, the undergraduate training program in Political Science at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU currently has 08 training majors, including:

Students majoring in Political Science are eligible for the second degree program of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Accordingly, students can study for a second university degree at faculties/institutes of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as well as some member universities of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, such as the University of Law, the University of Education, and the University of Foreign Languages.
As a training program that meets AUN international accreditation standards, the Political Science major offers students a great advantage when those who graduate with a Good degree will be directly admitted to a master's degree, and those who graduate with an Excellent degree will be directly admitted to a doctoral degree.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Quoc Thanh:In the Bachelor of Political Science training program, there are 10 credits for internship and practice. This is an important content with 2 modules on professional internship and graduation internship.
Every year, the school organizes internships for students at businesses and government agencies in the locality. Through this, students acquire new knowledge and gain rich practical experience. The students are all very excited and enthusiastic to participate in internship and practical activities.
At the Faculty of Political Science, how do teachers implement innovative teaching methods to bring new life to their lectures?
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Quoc Thanh:Innovation in teaching methods is a regular task of lecturers in the department, aiming to convey lectures to students in the most attractive and interesting way, while improving the qualifications of lecturers.
Teachers have proactively innovated methods of imparting knowledge, exchanging with students, updating modern technology in teaching and attracting students to that innovation process.
Where are former Political Science students currently working? How do employers evaluate the quality of Political Science students at VNU-USSH?
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Quoc Thanh:The Faculty of Political Science is very proud of its students and alumni. While still in the classroom, they actively participate in learning and scientific research activities. After graduation, Political Science students are soon accepted by corporations, businesses and public organizations. They are highly appreciated for their expertise as well as their working skills and high sense of responsibility.
Political Science students have a great advantage when they are active in studying, actively researching documents and exchanging with lecturers, actively doing internships and participating in social activities. This is an important foundation for them to grasp good job opportunities when they have a Bachelor's degree in Political Science.
Job opportunities for students majoring in Political Science are very wide open. They work in agencies in the Vietnamese political system, corporations, businesses; press and media agencies; or as lecturers at universities, colleges, and intermediate schools teaching political theory and subjects related to political science.
