First time applying many policies on direct admission to postgraduate

For the first time, candidates do not need to study the right major, just need to have a Bachelor's degree with honors in suitable majors to be considered for direct admission to postgraduate studies. The above policy is from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi). Direct admission time: from 8:00 a.m. on February 22 to 5:00 p.m. on April 8. This policy is applied to 44 training majors.

Specifically: Bachelors with honors in the fields of Journalism, Public Relations, International Communications, Mass Communications... are directly admitted to Master's degree programs in the fields of Journalism and Communications Management, Journalism (research-oriented, application-oriented).

Bachelors of Literature and Literature Pedagogy with Excellent degrees are directly admitted to the Master's degree in Literature. Bachelors of Tourism and Travel Services Management, Tourism, Hotel Management or Restaurant and Catering Management with Excellent degrees are directly admitted to the Master's degree in Tourism. Bachelors of Management Science, Political Science, Law with Excellent degrees are directly admitted to the Public Policy major.

Accordingly, the School's 8 training majors are accredited by prestigious international accreditation organizations (AUN-QA, ABET...) and Vietnamese accreditation organizations recognized by the Ministry of Education and Training, allowing full-time students in the right major, with a Good grade or higher, to be directly admitted to Master's programs. Specifically, the 8 majors include: Literature, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, History, Vietnamese Studies, International Studies, and Archival Studies.

Also starting in 2022,first timeScientific research students will have their scientific research bonus points directly added to their cumulative GPA for direct admission, with the following bonus points for scientific research:

Won awards at Hanoi National University or Ministry of Education and Training level: first prize 0.2 points, second prize 0.15 points, third prize 0.1 points, consolation prize 0.07 points.

Won school or department level awards: first prize 0.1 point, second prize 0.07 point, third prize 0.05 point.

For scientific articles published in ISI journals: 0.3 points; articles published in Scopus/other international journals: 0.2 points; articles published in proceedings of international/national scientific conferences and seminars: 0.15 points. 2022 is also the yearfirst yearThe University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) has applied a new policy in doctoral admissions. Accordingly, the school will consider exempting tuition fees for doctoral students with excellent research capacity; at the same time, it is proposed that Vietnam National University, Hanoi grant scholarships of up to 100 million VND/person/year (12 months) based on academic and research results during the standard training period. Interns will be considered for scholarships of up to 120 million VND/person/year (12 months).
