Attending the 2023 Bachelor's Degree Award Ceremony were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and teachers in the school's Board of Directors; representatives of the leaders of the Training, Politics and Student Affairs Departments; and the leaders of the faculties/institutes/departments in the school. In particular, the ceremony welcomed 1,558 new bachelors with many families, relatives and friends to celebrate and congratulate.

In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Principal of the University warmly congratulated all the students who graduated and received their Bachelor's degrees, marking a difficult and challenging but also very interesting and memorable learning journey. Receiving your university degree today, you have the right to be proud because your efforts in studying have been duly rewarded. Overcoming all the challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, changes in training regulations or difficulties in life, you have reached the destination of success. It is not only a milestone marking the journey of you cultivating your passion and love, but more than that, you have obtained a bachelor's degree from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - the leading university in training and research in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities in the country, to confidently step into the life that is opening up ahead.
Principal Hoang Anh Tuan gave a congratulatory speech to the students who officially became new Bachelors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
At the ceremony, the school respectfully honored and awarded certificates of merit to 20 excellent valedictorians and 58 excellent students of various training majors. The newly awarded graduates are not only students with excellent academic results and active participation in scientific research, but also dynamic, creative leaders and union cadres, devoted to union movements and volunteer activities serving the community.
The atmosphere of the ceremony was filled with emotions when accompanying the Valedictorians on the brilliant stage were their parents and teachers. During the 4-year journey of university study, along with their outstanding efforts, they have received the care and nurturing of their parents, teachers and teachers. Today's achievements of the new graduates always have the shadow of their families and schools. Therefore, in the moment of honoring the sweet achievements of the Valedictorians today, the School's Board of Directors gave fresh bouquets of flowers to thank the companionship of the parents, and more than that, the trust and love of the families when sending them to study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Many parents were moved to share: “Four years ago, when their children were preparing to apply for university, their families and the children themselves researched and decided to choose the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to pursue a major that suited their abilities and interests.
Being a student of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is the pride of the children and the pride of the family. Therefore, although they know that studying away from home will be very difficult, the children are determined, and their parents and the whole family are ready to support them.
Our children are fortunate to study in a humane, creative, and traditional learning environment. They are not only solid in their expertise, but also mature in their thinking, lifestyle, and moral qualities, so that they can be truly confident when they step out into the world. This is something extremely precious and proud!
We were very surprised, touched, proud and honored to be respectfully invited, warmly and solemnly welcomed by the School and to stand on this stage with our beloved child."
Many parents could not hide their emotions and tears of happiness when standing on stage to receive the Bachelor's degree with their children and a bouquet of flowers from the School.
New Valedictorian Hoang Tung Duong - the school's excellent Valedictorian, and also the Valedictorian of Philosophy with a GPA of 3.84/4.0 shared: "During the four-year journey, I and my fellow students at VNU-USSH were fortunate to both study in a very serious and high-quality academic environment and immerse ourselves in a dynamic and youthful environment with many exciting and practical activities organized by the School, Youth Union, Faculty, and Department.
The bachelor's degree is an extremely important milestone for us, because it is the crystallization of our tireless efforts, the care of our parents, the dedication of our teachers and the care and support of the school. We appreciate, are proud and honored because we have been and will always be an important part of this school."
Sharing the same sentiment, Nguyen Ha Chau Giang - Valedictorian of Public Relations expressed: "We are grateful for the teachers who have created a dynamic, creative, compassionate, and humane learning environment, creating conditions for us to develop the necessary knowledge and skills. When we graduate, wherever we go, we will always be proud to be students of Hanoi University of Humanities and Social Sciences."

Instructing the new graduates on the grand ceremony day, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong - Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities said: With nearly 80 years of history, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is the cradle that nurtured many generations of students and trainees. The fine traditions of the University are nurtured by generations of alumni who have made contributions to the political, economic, cultural, social fields of the country. Successful alumni are not only a source of pride but also a testament to the prestige and reputation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to the community and society.
