Attending the 2023 Bachelor's Graduation Ceremony were Professor Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, along with faculty members from the Board of Directors; representatives from the Training, Political, and Student Affairs departments; and the leadership of the faculties/institutes/departments within the university. Notably, the ceremony welcomed 1,558 new graduates along with their families, relatives, and friends who shared in the joy and offered their congratulations.

In his opening remarks, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University, warmly congratulated all graduating students on receiving their Bachelor's degrees, marking a challenging yet rewarding and memorable academic journey. Receiving their university degrees today, the students have every right to be proud, as their hard work has been justly rewarded. Overcoming all the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, changes in training regulations, and life's difficulties, they have achieved success. This is not only a milestone marking their journey of honing their expertise in their chosen fields, but more importantly, they now possess a Bachelor's degree from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – a leading university in training and research in the field of social sciences and humanities nationwide – to confidently step into the wide-open world ahead.

Rector Hoang Anh Tuan delivered a speech congratulating the students who have officially become new graduates of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
At the ceremony, the university respectfully honored and presented certificates of merit to 20 outstanding valedictorians and 58 outstanding students from various training programs. These honored graduates are not only students with excellent academic results and active participation in scientific research, but also dynamic and creative leaders and youth union officials who are dedicated to youth union activities and charitable work serving the community.
The atmosphere of the ceremony was filled with emotion as parents and teachers accompanied the valedictorians on the dazzling stage. Throughout their four years of university studies, alongside their outstanding personal efforts, the students received care and support from their parents and teachers. The achievements of these new graduates today are always marked by the presence of their families and the university. Therefore, in this moment of honoring the sweet achievements of the valedictorians, the University's leadership presented bouquets of flowers to express gratitude for the parents' companionship, and more importantly, for the trust, love, and care shown by their families in entrusting their children to study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
Many parents shared emotionally: “Four years ago, when our children were preparing to register for university, the family and the children themselves researched and decided to choose the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to pursue a major that suited their abilities and interests.”
Becoming a student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a source of pride for the children and their families. Therefore, even though they know that studying far from home will be very difficult, the children are determined, and their parents and the whole family are ready to support them.
Our children are fortunate to study in a humane, creative, and traditionally rich learning environment. They not only excel in their studies but also mature in their thinking, lifestyle, and moral character, enabling them to confidently face life's challenges. This is something we cherish and are incredibly proud of!
"Being respectfully invited by the school, receiving such thoughtful and formal hospitality, and being able to stand on this stage with our beloved child, we were extremely surprised, moved, and felt incredibly proud and honored."






Many parents could not hide their emotions and shed tears of happiness as they stood on stage to receive their children's Bachelor's degrees and bouquets of flowers as a token of appreciation from the University.
Valedictorian Hoang Tung Duong – the top student of the entire university, and also the top student in Philosophy with a GPA of 3.84/4.0, shared: “During our four-year journey, I and my fellow students at VNU-USSH have been fortunate to study in a very serious and high-quality academic environment, while also immersing ourselves in a dynamic and youthful environment with many exciting and practical activities organized by the University, the Youth Union, the Faculty, and the Department.”
"This bachelor's degree is an extremely important milestone for us, as it is the culmination of our diligent efforts, the care and dedication of our parents, the passionate teaching of our teachers, and the support and guidance of the University. We cherish, are proud, and honored that we have been, and will forever be, an important part of this institution."
Sharing the same sentiment, Nguyen Ha Chau Giang, the top student in Public Relations, expressed: “We are grateful that our teachers have created a dynamic, creative, compassionate, and humane learning environment, providing us with the necessary knowledge and skills to develop. Wherever we go after graduation, we will always be proud to be students of Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities.”

Addressing the new graduates on this momentous occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong – Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – stated: With nearly 80 years of history, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a cradle that has nurtured many generations of students and trainees to maturity. The fine traditions of the University have been cultivated by generations of alumni who have made and continue to make contributions in the political, economic, cultural, and social fields of the country. Successful alumni are not only a source of pride but also a testament to the prestige and reputation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities within the community and society.
“Tomorrow, nearly 1,600 new graduates who received their diplomas today will spread their wings and fly to vast horizons. We hope that you will continue to be ‘ambassadors’ spreading good values and the spirit of ‘Humanism’ to society and the community.”
"I wish you all continued growth, success, happiness, and that you become good citizens who contribute to the development of the community and society," Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong emotionally conveyed.
Vice Rector Dang Thi Thu Huong offered her congratulations and expressed her hope that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will always be a second home, a place that holds many beautiful memories and a place where students can return whenever they need to.
