On June 24, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province, organized a conference to present the preliminary results of the 2025 excavation of the Man Bac relic site at the cultural house of Bach Lien village, Yen Thanh commune (Yen Mo district, Ninh Binh province).

Language and AI is a new specialization within the Linguistics Department at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. It's not just a combination of linguistic science and digital technology, but also a foundation for developing language experts with technological thinking, data analysis skills, and content creation abilities in the digital world.

The documentary film "Vietnam 1954 - Glory and Tears," directed by a group of lecturers and former students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, won the top prize - Award A - at the 19th National Journalism Awards Ceremony - 2024, held on the evening of June 21, 2025 in Hanoi.

On March 25-26, 2023, the second HSA exam of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi's High School Student Competency Assessment Exam took place at 8 testing locations. The testing location at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had nearly 900 participating candidates.
