On June 24, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province, held a conference to report on the preliminary results of the excavation of Man Bac relic in 2025 at the cultural house of Bach Lien village, Yen Thanh commune (Yen Mo district, Ninh Binh province).

Language and AI is a new major of the Linguistics Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. This is not only a combination of language science and digital technology, but also a foundation for forming language experts with technological thinking, data analysis capacity and content creation ability in the digital world.

The documentary film “Vietnam 1954 - Glory and Tears” directed by a group of lecturers and former students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities won the highest prize - Prize A at the 19th National Press Awards Ceremony - 2024 held on the evening of June 21, 2025 in Hanoi.

Gathering prestigious scientists from Vietnam and Taiwan (China) with valuable research results, the International Scientific Conference with the theme "Vietnamese - Chinese Culture and Literature in the context of the digital age" was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on April 1-2, 2023.

On March 25-26, 2023, the second HSA exam of the High School Student Competency Assessment Exam of VNU took place at 8 testing sites. Of which, the test site at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had nearly 900 candidates participating.
