According to Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thanh Nam - Head of Training Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, this year, the University basically maintains the same university admission method as in 2020. Answering some questions related to the high school student competency assessment exam of VNU, which is expected to be held in 2021, Dr. Hoang Van Quynh - Deputy Head of Training Department, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, said: The high school student competency assessment exam of VNU in 2021 is not an entrance exam as it was held in 2015 and 2016, but this is a separate exam to assess the capacity and issue certificates of results to learners. Candidates with certificates of results of this exam will be one of the subjects for university admission of training units in VNU and some other units outside VNU. Detailed information and specific instructions about this exam are being developed by VNU, and are expected to be publicly announced on the website and mass media next month.

In 2021, to facilitate students to access admission information and better understand the school's majors, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities plans to carry out many direct admission consulting activities such as participating in the admission consulting - career guidance program of Tuoi Tre Newspaper in the northern provinces/cities, participating in career consulting - orientation programs organized by some localities, continuing to implement the "Student Ambassador" program on admission consulting at high schools, etc.
