Bui Thanh Tam has been admitted to the Korean Studies program.
I felt very nervous about starting at the university, but then I received help from the very enthusiastic and lovely volunteer staff. Part of my reason for choosing Korean Studies was based on my parents' advice and my love and admiration for Korean popular culture, especially the K-pop stars. I passed the entrance exam with a score of 25.9 in the D83 group. Besides studying, I really want to participate in extracurricular activities, make friends with my peers, and learn from senior students. I have researched and plan to join several clubs such as the MC Presentation Club, the PEACE CREW Dance Club, and some extracurricular and sports activities at the university. In the future, I also plan to pursue higher education.

Do Anh Tuan from Hanoi has been admitted to the high-quality Journalism program.
I was admitted to the Journalism program (CLC, D01 block) with a score of 23.85. I felt quite nervous upon entering the university for the first time, but the professors and senior students were very enthusiastic and attentive, which eased my anxiety. I hope that I, as well as all the new students, will maintain a confident and ready spirit to prepare for a successful new academic year. I also wish the university a brilliant admissions season this year.

Do Anh Minh has been admitted to the Japanese Studies program.
Before applying to this university, I studied Japanese since high school and have a great love for Japan, so I chose this major. I scored 25.05 in the D06 exam. I hope that by enrolling in this major, I can learn about Japanese culture and society. This is a relatively new environment for me, but the enthusiastic help from my classmates, teachers, and seniors has eased my initial feelings of apprehension. I hope that students like me will study hard, succeed in the future, and become useful members of society.

Dr. Pham Hai Chung, lecturer at the Institute Journalism and Media Training
As the academic advisor for the CLC Journalism program, I am delighted to see that this year's students have very high entrance exam scores. My initial impression is that they are very dynamic and passionate about journalism and media. Entering the CLC Journalism program will provide students with many opportunities for experience and internships at media companies, as well as equipping them with many skills to adapt to the digital age. Furthermore, this program also emphasizes improving foreign language skills. I have a message for the CLC Journalism students: whenever you publish a message, think of the word "Humanity" – Journalism must be humane.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, Head of the Public Relations Department, Institute of Journalism and Communication Training
A common impression she has of PR students, as well as future PR professionals, is their subtlety, depth, and friendliness—their smiles, confidence, and openness to each other. A significant difference in this cohort is that, unlike previous cohorts where students seemed hesitant and unsure about their chosen field, today all their faces are radiant and full of confidence. She is certain that the parents waiting on campus or at home also empathize, understand, and support them.

Dr. Le Le Na, lecturer at the Faculty of International Studies
The Faculty of International Studies welcomes new students to the CLC International Studies program. This is the first year the Faculty has offered and is enrolling students in this program. The first difference is that approximately 30% of the courses are taught in English. Secondly, students will gain many new skills. Most importantly, many courses are taught using innovative methods. The faculty members look forward to welcoming and teaching new students with these new contents and methods.

Dr. Pham Hoang Giang - Deputy Head of the Philosophy Department
Welcoming students is an area that the Philosophy Department has been very interested in for many years. For example, at the beginning of the year, the Department will hold meetings for first-year students to learn about the Department. In addition, the Department organizes Welcome Nights for new students, with guest singers performing. Furthermore, if the Covid-19 situation stabilizes, the Department will organize a field trip for new students, tentatively planned for two days in the outskirts of Hanoi. Faculty members and students can travel to Ba Vi or Mai Chau so that students can have an initial experience of student life at the Philosophy Department and under the roof of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
