The training course was implemented in accordance with Decision No. 2315/QD-UBND dated April 17, 2017, of the Hanoi People's Committee on approving the Project "Improving the quality of training and professional development of cadres, civil servants, and public employees of Hanoi city in the period 2016 - 2020". The course lasted from September 21, 2020, to October 2, 2020.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Quang Vinh (Deputy Director of the Center for Foreign Languages and Training Cooperation, University of Social Sciences and Humanities) read the summary report of the course. According to the report, 45 out of 50 students received their certificates at the end of the course (23 students in the Advanced Training Course on Effective Tourism Management and Development; 22 students in the Professional Training Course on Professionalizing the Activities of Public Service Units to Promote Domestic Tourism).
The trainees participated fully in the course, demonstrating a positive learning spirit, good attitude, and enthusiastic exchange and discussion. The field survey program was conducted safely and effectively, providing trainees with additional information and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practice. The majority of trainees completed their assignments with above-average scores.

During the course, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities conducted training in accordance with the approved curriculum. The university mobilized a team of highly qualified and experienced lecturers working at the university and the Hanoi Department of Tourism, including one lecturer with the title of Associate Professor and four lecturers with PhDs. Classrooms were well-equipped with learning facilities and amenities, and sufficient learning materials were provided for students. The university flexibly adjusted and replaced lectures by foreign lecturers who could not come to Vietnam due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring the completion of the training program.


Certificates were awarded to the trainees.
Following the course summary report, Ms. Ngo Minh Hoang and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa presented certificates to the course participants.
On the same day, the second training course for tourism management officials and civil servants in 2020 was inaugurated with the participation of 75 trainees.
