Closing Ceremony of the 1st Training Course for Officials and Public Employees in Tourism Management in Hanoi City

The training course was implemented according to Decision No. 2315/QD-UBND dated April 17, 2017 of the Hanoi People's Committee on approving the Project "Improving the quality of training and fostering the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees of Hanoi city in the period 2016 - 2020". The course lasted from September 21, 2020 to October 2, 2020.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Quang Vinh (Deputy Director of the Center for Foreign Languages ​​and Training Cooperation, University of Social Sciences and Humanities) read the summary report of the course. Accordingly, 45 students out of a total of 50 students received the final certificate (23 students in the Training course on improving knowledge of effective tourism management and development; 22 students in the Training course on professionalizing the activities of public service units to promote domestic tourism).

Students participated in the full course, with a positive learning spirit, good learning attitude, enthusiastic exchange and discussion. The field survey program was organized safely, with the right purpose to help students have more information, apply theoretical knowledge into practice. Most students completed the harvest with above average scores.

During the course, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities conducted training in accordance with the approved program content. The school mobilized a team of highly qualified and experienced lecturers working at the school and the Hanoi Department of Tourism, including 01 lecturer with the title of Associate Professor, 04 lecturers with PhD degrees. The classrooms were arranged spaciously, ensuring equipment and facilities for learning, providing enough learning materials for students. The school flexibly adjusted and replaced lectures by foreign lecturers who could not come to Vietnam due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, ensuring the training program.

Awarding certificates to students

After the course summary report, Ms. Ngo Minh Hoang and Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa awarded certificates to the course students.

On the same day, the 2020 Training and Development Course for Tourism Management Officers, Civil Servants and Officials, Phase 2, opened with the participation of 75 students.
