Signing of Memorandum of Understanding: The basis for long-term and effective cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises

Attending the signing ceremony were leaders of enterprises belonging to the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises: SHB Bank, Kingsman Academy of Strategy and Human Resources, Institute of Economics and Enterprise Development, Life Core Group, Hong Thai Joint Venture Group, led by Mr. Mac Quoc Anh (Party Secretary, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Association).

In his opening speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Thanh Truong thanked the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises for their attention to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Today's memorandum of understanding signing ceremony is the realization of the exchanges and agreements that the two sides have actively conducted in the past time. On the basis of this framework agreement, the two sides will carry out specific cooperation activities and projects in many areas: sponsoring scholarships for study and scientific research, supporting the construction of school facilities, career counseling, training, improving skills for students, accompanying in community service activities... The participation of businesses not only helps to promote the strengths and resources of both sides but also helps the school to have reliable feedback to innovate and improve the quality of training programs, meeting the requirements of society for high-quality human resources.

Representing the Association, Mr. Mac Quoc Anh shared: Expanding cooperation and accompanying educational institutions is an important strategy that leaders of enterprises in the Association are very interested in. This is not only an opportunity to increase resources for the development of enterprises but also a responsibility to society. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a leading university, postgraduate and scientific research training center in the country, so we really want to accompany the school in providing practical internship addresses for students, training additional necessary skills so that they can find suitable jobs after graduation. At the same time, support to transfer initiatives and research achievements of teachers into useful products for society. With the strengths of the school, the space for cooperation between the two sides is very large and I believe that the two sides will cooperate very successfully.

Vice President Dang Thu Huong also shared: the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is one of two units in the country that offers formal training in journalism (from bachelor to doctorate), in addition, many of the school's alumni are working at major press agencies in the country, the school also has strategic partnerships with many newspapers, radio stations, and central and Hanoi city media agencies (Nhan Dan Newspaper, VOV, Hanoi Television, etc.). Therefore, through cooperation projects with the school, businesses in the Association can promote and spread their images and products to the public nationwide. After this signing ceremony, the two sides will immediately start implementing a number of specific activities, and we hope that businesses in the Association will accompany us in this year's university admissions, which will take place next month.

Dr. Luong Ngoc Vinh (Deputy Head of the Department of Cooperation and Development) presented the content of the Memorandum of Understanding that was discussed and agreed upon by both sides.

At the end of the working session, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.

The school's leadership representative presented the medal to the Association representative and took souvenir photos with the attending delegates.
