On the side of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, along with Rector Hoang Anh Tuan, there were also leaders of the Departments of Cooperation and Development, Politics and Student Affairs, leaders and many lecturers and staff of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
In his welcoming speech to the delegation visiting the school, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan affirmed: The Korea Foundation for International Exchange is a very prestigious organization, which has affirmed its brand in the fields of academics, education and international cooperation. Today, welcoming the delegation including the President of the Foundation and professors and experts from major universities in Korea, the ASEAN Policy Research Institute is truly a great honor for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Over the years, to achieve achievements in training in Oriental Studies and Korean Studies, the University deeply appreciates the contributions and attention of the Fund, which are shown in many specific activities: publishing, organizing seminars, sending lecturers, investing in scientific research, awarding scholarships to students, equipping facilities, etc. These cooperations and supports are extremely valuable, creating conditions for Korean Studies to grow stronger and contribute to affirming the position of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, becoming one of the leading prestigious Korean Studies training institutions in the country.

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Lee Geun (Chairman of the Fund) highly appreciated the achievements of the University in building and developing Korean Studies over the years, and affirmed: being able to cooperate with a leading unit in Vietnam in training social sciences such as the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a great honor for the Fund. The biggest goal of the KF Fund is to build a development relationship between Vietnam and Korea, strengthen the cultural and educational exchange relationship between the two countries. Therefore, in the coming time, the Fund commits to continue to support the improvement of facilities of lecture halls and Korean Studies rooms, support the publication of many documents and textbooks to serve teaching and scientific research, organize seminars, and award scholarships to students majoring in Korean Studies. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Korea, the Fund wants to elevate the relationship between the two countries to a new level.
At the end of the meeting, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan, on behalf of the school's Board of Directors, once again thanked the Fund and Korean universities, research institutes and partners for their attention and support in the past. The Principal also hoped that in the coming time, traditional cooperation activities between the two sides would continue to receive attention and promotion from the Fund and Korean partners. The school committed to using those resources closely and effectively to develop the school's Korean Studies department.

During the meeting, the experts of the delegation shared many interesting things about the country and people of Korea, about the activities of the Foundation in the coming time, support programs for students majoring in Korean Studies through scientific research, scholarships, internship opportunities, practical opportunities, and job opportunities. The exchange was truly a valuable opportunity for students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies and Korean Studies to directly exchange academic knowledge with Korean professors and experts, gain more experience and skills in studying, scientific research and career orientation in the future.
