Closing ceremony of the 2018-2019 school year of the Laotian Student Delegation

Attending the closing ceremony were 61 international students of doctoral, master and bachelor programs from the two universities. On behalf of the Embassy of the Lao PDR in Vietnam, there was Dr. Outhay Bannavong - First Secretary, and also attended by a number of representatives of the Lao International Student Delegation from universities in Hanoi. Representatives of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities included Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Vice Rector of the University and representatives of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs.

Speaking at the Closing Ceremony, the representative of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity, sense of discipline and learning efforts of Lao students in the 2018-2019 school year. The Lao students not only completed their study tasks but also actively participated in activities organized by the School and the Embassy, ​​contributing to the common success of both units. The School also pledged to continue to direct relevant departments to actively support Lao students in their studies and life, especially to have solutions to help students improve their Vietnamese language proficiency to study better. The School representative expressed his thanks to the Lao Embassy in Vietnam for always encouraging, cooperating and supporting the School's activities.

Dr. Outhay Bannavong – First Secretary sent his thanks to Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan and the Board of Directors, staff and workers of the School for always supporting and helping Lao students in their studies and life. The Embassy representative also reminded Lao students to be aware of their study duties and improve their qualifications so that they can return to contribute to the construction and development of the country. In addition, he also encouraged students to actively participate in extracurricular activities, both to improve their communication skills and introduce the culture of the country, and at the same time contribute to developing the relationship between the youth of Vietnam and Laos.
