The 2023 Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition attracted the participation of 44 leading universities in Taiwan (China) in the fields of: social sciences and humanities, foreign languages, education, culture and arts; natural sciences - engineering - technology; medicine - agriculture - forestry; economics - management. This is the largest number of universities participating in the exhibition to date. Here, Vietnamese students had many opportunities to find valuable scholarships and learn from the experiences of international students.
Professor Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, delivered the opening speech at the Exhibition.
In his opening remarks at the exhibition, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-USSH, stated that, as a leading university in Vietnam with a mission to be at the forefront of creating and disseminating knowledge and training high-quality human resources, VNU-USSH has established and expanded cooperation programs with many universities in Taiwan to enhance faculty and student exchanges, jointly organize international seminars and conferences, and conduct scientific research.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Minh, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, delivered a speech at the Taiwan Higher Education Exhibition 2023.
Attending the exhibition, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Minh, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, informed that every year, the Taiwanese education authorities provide many long-term scholarships and Chinese language scholarships for Vietnamese students to study in Taiwan. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Minh shared:

With its advanced, internationally recognized education system, Taiwan offers international students excellent learning opportunities at more competitive tuition fees compared to many other educational institutions in the region, attracting a large number of Vietnamese students to study there.
According to Mr. Thach Thuy Ky, Head Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam, in 2022, there were 23,728 Vietnamese students studying in Taiwan, making Vietnam the country with the largest number of international students in Taiwan. “When studying in Taiwan, students can choose programs taught in Chinese or English, or both. The experience in Taiwan can be beneficial for career development and contribute to the future achievements of students,” Mr. Thach Thuy Ky stated.
Within the framework of the exhibition, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, along with several other Vietnamese universities, signed memoranda of understanding with universities in Taiwan on cooperation in training, scientific research, and student and faculty exchange.
