Recently, VNU-USSH has collaborated with businesses to organize experience-sharing and career guidance sessions for students; support student internships, faculty and student surveys, and recruitment of graduates; support scientific research; and transfer of research findings from faculty and students, etc.
Businesses have also consistently offered cooperation with the School in areas such as: providing the best financial services at the lowest cost, preferential capital programs for construction and renovation projects of the School's facilities, supporting the "Zero-Cost Supermarket," etc.
Many entrepreneurs have collaborated with the university in training activities, holding meetings, exchanges, and sharing experiences and lessons learned in entrepreneurship, management skills, and business development with VNU-USSH students. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, has incorporated practical application-oriented courses into its curriculum, such as entrepreneurship, creative thinking, and idea design. These entrepreneurs have brought the "breath of life" of the business environment, sharing profound lessons and practical experiences in entrepreneurship with the students.
Mr. Nguyen Gia Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hong Thai Group and a former student of the K42 class, Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, shared that during his first year as a student, he read books by prominent entrepreneurs and was inspired to start his own business by stories from his courses. Therefore, his passion for business was nurtured in the learning environment of VNU-USSH. With the support of his classmates, Mr. Tuan has built his own successful business. Mr. Tuan stated that he plans to hold discussions with students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities about his experiences on his startup journey while still in university.

In particular, businesses have awarded many valuable scholarships to students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, such as the Danko Group scholarship, awarded annually from 2018 to the present, the Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) scholarship, the Dao Minh Quang scholarship, etc.
The Dao Minh Quang Scholarship Fund, chaired by Dr. Dao Minh Quang, has been awarded annually, providing VNU-USSH students with more learning opportunities. Each year, the Fund awards scholarships to 22 students with excellent academic results, 10 students who are class/student union/association leaders with excellent/good academic results, and 5 students from disadvantaged backgrounds with excellent/good academic results, each scholarship worth 5 million VND.
