At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan affirmed: International integration is a strong trend of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU. With the mission of being a pioneer in training high-quality, highly qualified human resources; researching, creating and disseminating knowledge in the field of social sciences and humanities, the University always attaches importance to strengthening cooperation with international educational and research organizations and prestigious scientists in the world. Chinese universities and research institutes are important partners of the University in training and scientific research, cooperation in exchanging students and lecturers, international publishing and organizing seminars. In particular, Chinese students, trainees and postgraduates studying at VNU-USSH at different levels from bachelor's to master's and doctoral degrees have been given the best conditions for studying, medical care and cultural exchange in Vietnam.
The fact that the University sent Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong - Vice Rector to visit and work with universities and research institutions in Guangxi, China, and Associate Professor, Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh - Vice Rector to visit and work with universities in Yunnan province has affirmed the efforts and will of the University in the plan to restart cooperation programs, increase friendship between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Chinese universities after the recovery period after Covid-19. Towards the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - China relations, the attention and support from the Chinese Embassy for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is extremely important and valuable. Thereby, helping VNU - USSH further expand cooperative relations with many Chinese training institutions, joining hands to promote educational cooperation between educational institutions to a new level.
Educational cooperation is to promote cooperation between Vietnam and China.
Mr. Trinh Dai Vi - Education Counselor, Chinese Embassy emphasized the importance of educational development, especially the need for training in social sciences and humanities is extremely urgent. Promoting educational cooperation will not only strengthen cooperation between Vietnam and China, but also be a bridge for cultural exchange between the two countries. Therefore, as a pioneer and leader in training in social sciences, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities plays a special role and always receives special attention from the Chinese Embassy. As a bridge between the two countries, the Chinese Embassy will support and create favorable conditions for VNU - USSH to connect and expand cooperation with many major universities in China, as well as promote research cooperation between the school and major research institutions here.

Thanking the sincere feelings of the Education Counselor, Chinese Embassy, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has been having effective cooperation with universities in the East and West of China and recently with Xiamen University. In the future, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan hopes that with strong support from the Chinese Embassy, the cooperation framework between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Chinese universities can be expanded to the North and the South, contributing to further enhancing the effectiveness of cooperation between the two sides.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Cam Lan - Head of the Faculty of Languages, shared about the achievements of cooperation between the Faculty and universities in China.
Associate Professor Dr. Trinh Cam Lan - Head of the Faculty of Linguistics shared: Currently, the Faculty of Linguistics is training more than 200 students from China. Creating the best conditions for Chinese students in particular and international students in general is a particularly important goal of the Faculty and the University. This not only helps them acquire knowledge and skills during their studies and research here, but also helps them have the most complete cultural experiences in Vietnam, thereby improving their knowledge and awareness of the beauty of culture and the importance of the Vietnamese language. In addition, the Faculty of Linguistics also has training programs for postgraduate students and Vietnamese language teachers in China. Currently, the Faculty is training 8 PhD students and 11 graduate students from China. This is an important contribution of the Faculty of Languages in promoting the cooperation between VNU - USSH and universities in China, contributing to enriching the good diplomatic relationship between the two countries.
In addition, research cooperation is also one of the aspects that the Faculty and the University pay special attention to. Up to now, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has had 5 scientific publications in cooperation with Guangxi University for Nationalities, 5 international conferences with universities in China. In particular, from 2016 to 2018, the University also organized 5 international scientific conferences on "Vietnamese - Chinese Language and Culture". In 2024, the conference is expected to be held at the Faculty of Linguistics at the Faculty of Humanities, promising to bring many innovations in bilateral cooperation.
Dr. Pham Hoang Hung - Head of Cooperation and Development Department emphasized: VNU - USSH always creates the best conditions for international students to come and study.
In the first semester of 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had 300 international students from 16 universities in China come to study and research at all levels, from bachelor's to doctoral. The school has created conditions for them and provided the best support to help them quickly adapt to the learning process at the school. In September, the school also held an admission and opening ceremony for Chinese students. The ceremony was attended by many teachers from Chinese universities, which demonstrated the special interest of Chinese partners in VNU - USSH. Accordingly, during the business trips to 20 training institutions in the two provinces of Yunnan and Guangxi, China, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities wishes to resume cooperative relations and demonstrate the school's sincerity to all parties. With the development of transportation and favorable cooperation between the School and Chinese partners, it is expected that by 2024, cooperation activities between the two sides will explode and bring practical results.

Mr. Hoang Hoa Hien, as a former student of the Faculty of Languages and a former Southeast Asian Studies PhD student, expressed his gratitude to the teachers and his joy at having the opportunity to visit the school.
Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Hong Son - Deputy Head of the Department of History, Director of the Museum of Anthropology shared about the process of archaeological excavation cooperation with Chinese students at Jilin University, expanding excavations in both China and Vietnam.
Ms. Vuong Ke Cam - Representative of the Chinese graduate student group in Vietnam, thanked the teachers and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - an important link in her growth process.
