3. Some educational philosophies in Vietnamese history and core values that need to be promoted.
4. Educational philosophy of some countries in the world - experience for Vietnam.
Based on a very elaborate and thorough analysis of early Buddhist and Confucian philosophies on education, the educational views of Vietnamese thinkers in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries, Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on education, UNESCO's educational philosophy; the views of some thinkers in the world: Rudolf Steiner, Maria Montessori, Jean Jacques Rousseau, Mahatma Gandhi, ... as well as from the vivid reality of the current educational picture, scientists have made the assertion: it is necessary to quickly promulgate the Vietnamese Educational Philosophy with core values, generalizations of an orientational nature.
Some researchers have deeply analyzed the aspects and specific manifestations of educational philosophy in practice: philosophy of teachers, liberal education, democratic ideology in education, as well as referring to the achievements in the innovation process of countries around the world (Japan, Germany, France, Singapore, ...).
Many studies have analyzed in depth the achievements in educational innovation of countries around the world and proposed solutions and lessons for Vietnam in building and implementing educational philosophy in the context of strong development of science and technology as today.
In the introductory report, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quang Hung (Faculty of Philosophy, VNU-USSH) aroused much interest in the debate on some key issues of the conference such as: Is it necessary to build a Vietnamese educational philosophy? What are the contents and core values of the Vietnamese educational philosophy? And what are the solutions to ensure the successful realization of that philosophy in the vivid reality of today's education?

Those issues have partly found answers through a number of research results presented at the workshop and the lively discussions and open sharing of delegates participating directly and online via zoom software.
Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Them (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City) with the Report: "The path to building educational philosophy and Vietnamese educational philosophy" hasproposes a 3-layer structure model with 6 elements of Vietnamese educational philosophy including. Layer I is the minimum structure consisting of 2 elements: Mission and Educational Objectives. Layer II is the basic structure, with 2 elements: Educational Principles and Core Values of Educational Culture. Layer III is the extended structure, with 2 more elements: Content Requirements and Educational Method Requirements.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Lieu (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU) presented a report on Educational Philosophy at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, emphasizing: Schools pay special attention to and invest in the implementation of building educational philosophy according to the "minimum structure and basic structure"; however, it is necessary to continue to build and perfect educational philosophy according to the "extended structure" and organize a summary assessment of the implementation of educational philosophy from the perspective of organizational culture.
Prof. Dr. Jean-François Dupeyron (University of Bordeaux (France) with the report Freeing up educational time
In the conference summary report, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan (Former Head of the Philosophy Department) raised a number of points that were agreed upon by the majority of delegates: Building an educational philosophy suitable for the current context of Vietnam is not only necessary but also urgent; That educational philosophy must be popular, stable, sustainable and must be suitable for the specific historical context and traditional culture of Vietnam, both inheriting the precious traditions of traditional education and grasping the breath and spirit of the times. The conference "Philosophy of Vietnamese Education: From Tradition to Modernity" met the expectations of the Organizing Committee.

Within the framework of the conference, it is difficult to solve all the practical problems raised, but the conference has shown the interest and enthusiasm of scientists and educators for the reform of Vietnamese education. From the suggestions from this conference, there should be specialized conferences to continue to research and discuss in more depth on specific aspects contributing to the construction of a wise, practical and effective Vietnamese educational philosophy.
