Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Board of Directors, heads of departments in the School, more than 30 teachers who are former teachers, guest lecturers, along with all lecturers of the Faculty, Center, and nearly 500 students, trainees and postgraduates. Especially welcoming 192 new students of Faculty K65, school year 2020.

In the opening speech, Dr. Do Van Hung, on behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and the Board of Directors, sent the warmest congratulations to all former teachers, visiting teachers, and teachers working at the Faculty and the Center on the occasion of the 2020 Vietnamese Teachers' Charter Day. He emphasized that today's success is thanks to the enthusiastic and dedicated cooperation and support, as well as the favor that part-time teachers and visiting teachers have given to the Faculty, the Center and generations of students. In particular, the continuation and inheritance of generations of the Faculty have created a solid foundation for the Faculty. I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to the generations of leaders through the periods of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Van, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Quy.

Dr. Do Van Hung also reported to the teachers about the outstanding developments of the Faculty in recent times. Currently, the Faculty has 3 undergraduate training programs: Information - Library, Standard Information Management and High-quality Information Management, 2 master's programs (application and research) and 1 doctoral program. The Faculty currently has nearly 500 students, trainees and PhD students. The Faculty has expanded cooperation with many universities in the world, international organizations such as IFLA, OADP. Large companies with Google in the Vietnam 4.0 launch pad program, digital capacity for students with Facebook. In particular, the Faculty closely cooperates with businesses with the business semester policy to expand internship and employment opportunities for students. In the context of digital transformation, the 4.0 industrial revolution and the digital economy are opening up development opportunities for the information - library and information management industry. And the faculty is seizing those opportunities to rise and gradually assert its position.
For you students, the Dean calls on you to be passionate, to light the fires of youthful enthusiasm and burn yourself out! Teachers are always by your side, always dedicated and devoted to your future. Let's unite and be creative to create a collective strength, and remember: A good person will win a match, but with team spirit and wisdom we will become champions.
The ceremony was especially dedicated to warmly welcoming 192 new students of the Faculty, the warriors who have gone through a year of covid and the most intense exam season to enter the common house called Humanities - FLIS. They will have meaningful days of youth in a place that never gets old - that is the place of Youth! On this occasion, the School and the Faculty also awarded scholarships to the valedictorians of the 2020-2021 school year.

The second part was full of excitement with 8 musical performances from 8 classes. The students showed their special musical talents from folk dance, contemporary dance to modern dance, playing music and impressive rap songs. The program awarded the first prize to the K65 Information - Library class, along with 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes, 2 impressive prizes and 1 style prize to the excellent performing groups. Together, they created a great music party. In particular, the cheerleading team always burned the hall with their non-stop cheering, contributing significantly to the success of the show.
The ceremony ended with the joy of teachers and students, wishing each other health, happiness, success, and looking forward to seeing each other at the 25th anniversary of the Faculty's founding.
