Accompanying "The Sounds of Vietnam" is the presence of a powerful judging panel: People's Artist Xuan Hoach – One of the three Vietnamese artists recognized as world masters by the World Masters Organization (WMOC); Dr., Musician: Nguyen Dinh Lam - Vietnam Musicians Association; Dr. Lu Thi Thanh Le - Lecturer in the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

The Jury of the Gala Night
The evening was incredibly lively with 7 outstanding performances from 7 competing teams from different departments of the university. While the first round, titled "Capturing the East Wind," provided the audience and contestants with valuable knowledge about traditional music forms, the second round, "Folk Melodies," immersed viewers in the sweet and soulful melodies of Quan Ho folk songs, the rustic and ancient Xam folk songs, and the emotional nuances of Cheo opera.

The music night attracted the attention and enthusiastic participation of numerous faculty leaders from the Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language departments, the Literature Department, lecturers, alumni, and students from various departments within the university.

The teams' performances left a deep impression on the judges and the audience.

The Golden Dragon and White Tiger team performed a piece titled "Three Officials Offering Betel."

The segment "The Unjust Accusation Against Her Husband" in the traditional Vietnamese opera "Quan Am Thi Kinh"

The performance "The Funniest Northerners in Hanoi" was presented by H&H.

The performance of "Que Choa" was presented by the T3H team.

The performance of "Still in Love" by the Tơ Hồng group.

The traditional Vietnamese opera performance "Laws of Life" by the Thap Cam group.
Through "Sounds of Vietnam," students also have the opportunity to work and interact with highly qualified mentors from the "48-Hour Cheo Performance - I'm Cheoing Back to My Homeland" project. The success of the performance would not have been possible without the dedicated support and guidance of Artist Nguyen Nhu Chinh (whom the students mistakenly call Uncle Hai Nhu Chinh) - Head of the Tri Am Tri Ky Quan Ho Cultural Troupe, Vice Chairman of the Nhi Ha Traditional Quan Ho Club, along with the mentors and musicians.

What was truly special was that all the contestants and audience members present in the hall had the opportunity to witness People's Artist Xuan Hoach perform with his two-stringed fiddle (nhị) at the end of the final night. Something that's hard to find live anywhere else!

The festival not only provided new and exciting experiences and equipped a large number of students with more knowledge about various forms of folk art and culture, but also contributed to preserving, protecting, and spreading the value of traditional Vietnamese folk music to today's youth.
