On the morning of November 16, 2023, at the campus of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH), the 0-dong Supermarket for the students of the University was organized by the Union in a very warm atmosphere. Attending the event were Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong, Vice Principal of the University, Dr. Ngo Kieu Oanh, President of the University Union, along with teachers representing the leaders of the Union Executive Committee, departments, faculties/departments, and a large number of students.
Regarding the idea of organizing this activity, Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh, President of the School's Trade Union, shared: Caring for, accompanying, sharing and supporting students, especially students with difficult circumstances, has become a beautiful tradition of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. With the consent and direction of the Party Committee, the School's Trade Union Executive Committee has launched a campaign for union members throughout the school to join hands to contribute to express their feelings to the students. And in just a short time, the Organizing Committee has received enthusiastic support from teachers and some close partner companies and businesses of the School that have sent gifts of essential supplies and equipment to serve the students' study and life.

On behalf of the School Board of Directors, Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong highly appreciated the humane meaning in the idea of implementing this activity of the School Union Executive Committee, the activity not only shows the love, concern and thoughtful care of teachers for students but also is a bond, spreading the noble humanistic spirit. This activity becomes even more meaningful when it is implemented on the occasion of celebrating Vietnamese Teachers' Day and makes the Hanoi Humanities House even warmer, because of the affection that teachers have for their beloved students.

Through these small gifts, the teachers hope to share with you some of the difficulties in life. At the same time, the teachers also want to send you a message: when you become a part of Hanoi Humanities, you will not only be guided and inspired by the teachers to conquer the pinnacle of professional knowledge, but the teachers will always understand, accompany and share with you the difficulties in studying as well as in life. And you should be confident, try harder in studying and practicing to achieve success in life and later come back to help students with more difficult circumstances, together spreading the noble humanistic spirit of Hanoi Humanities.
The implementation of the 0 VND Supermarket was assigned by the School Union to the Life Committee as the focal point for implementation. MSc. Representatives of the School Board and the School Union presented gifts to 2 students representing 134 students participating in receiving gifts at the Zero-dong Supermarket event.
Representing 134 disadvantaged students who received gifts from the Zero-dong Supermarket this year, Pham Tram Anh (a student from the Faculty of Tourism) was moved to share: All the gifts were carefully and thoughtfully prepared by the teachers and handed to us in a very solemn and warm manner. We do not know what to say other than to express our deep gratitude to the School Board of Directors, the Union Executive Committee and all the teachers in the School. This gift to us is not only material support, but above all, we feel that we are always respected, cared for, encouraged and thanks to that we have more motivation to constantly strive in our studies as well as in life. Surely when knowing this, our relatives and families who live far away will be extremely assured and happy when we are always cared for and shared promptly by the School and teachers.

With the joint efforts of the lecturers and staff of the University, the support and sponsorship of a number of businesses and philanthropists, the Zero-VND Supermarket of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was successfully organized, giving meaningful gifts to students in difficult circumstances.
