Sharing her joy at receiving the scholarship, Bui Minh Thuy (a student in the International Studies Faculty, VNU-USSH) confided: “The scholarship is a valuable asset, helping me cover my living expenses this academic year, easing the financial burden on my family. Furthermore, receiving the Pony Chung scholarship will give me the opportunity to receive funding from the Foundation for a Master's degree at Korea University – one of the largest universities in Korea and a leading university in the world – as my family's financial situation doesn't allow me to pursue my dream of studying abroad. This education will be a valuable asset for my future career, fulfilling my dream of reaching out to the world, giving me more opportunities to develop myself, learn, and experience, and improving my living conditions so that my family can have a better life.”
The Pony Chung Scholarship is one of the prestigious and valuable scholarships awarded to those who strive and work hard to excel. And I have continuously strived every day. I thank the teachers at the Faculty of International Studies and the University for always accompanying and helping me achieve good academic results and have the joy I have today.” Student Bui Minh Thuy was previously awarded the highest academic achievement award for the QH-2021-X Standard Program, Faculty of International Studies, in the 2021-2022 academic year.
