Student ambassadors contribute to spreading the image and brand of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities

Student Ambassador is a communication initiative to serve the university admissions of the University. The 6th season of Student Ambassador continues to promote the achievements of previous years, at the same time implementing many innovations towards the goal of providing and consulting updated information on university admissions to students. The 2019 Student Ambassador program was launched in March with the participation of 197 volunteers, operating at 118 schools, consulting more than 20,000 students.

Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of Politics and Student Affairs Department) awarded certificates to students participating in the 2019 Student Ambassador program.

Student Ambassadors are a bridge to help bring useful information about the national high school exam, information about the school's majors, training programs, career opportunities, helping students choose majors that suit their abilities, strengths and desires.

With the efforts of communication activities in general and student ambassadors in particular, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had a successful 2019 enrollment season, demonstrated by the number of applications and the number of admitted students increasing compared to previous years. In 2017, the University had more than 37,000 applications, enrolling 1,800 students. In 2018, this number was 38,000 applications and nearly 2,000 admitted candidates. In the 2019 enrollment season, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities received more than 40,000 applications and successfully enrolled more than 2,000 new students.

Evaluating the effectiveness of the 2019 Student Ambassador program, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (School Principal) said: “The Student Ambassadors have played an important role in bringing the image of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities closer to high school students. They are a beautiful image of dynamism and enthusiasm; a direct and concrete image of the school in interacting with potential candidates. The school acknowledges their contributions and wishes them to continue to have new initiatives and achieve better results in their journey as Ambassadors.”

Praising the efforts and congratulating the success of the Student Ambassadors of season 6, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu presented the School's certificates to them.

Prof. Hoang Anh Tuan also highly appreciated the contribution of the Student Ambassador program to the success of the 2019 admission season. He affirmed that the Student Ambassador program is a "specialty" of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, which many other schools learn and refer to. This is a success of the admission activities, but there are also new challenges for this program because the need to access information of candidates is increasingly changing. The school's admissions team will continue to make adjustments and innovations to make the Student Ambassador program more complete and effective.
