University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

On the occasion of the 82nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2012), let us look back at some of the outstanding achievements of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2011.

The conference summarizing the trade union's work for the 2010-2011 academic year was held on August 25th. The conference aimed to evaluate and summarize the trade union's work for the 2010-2011 academic year, set directions for the 2011-2012 academic year, and discuss and approve the draft regulations on workplace culture (third version).

In accordance with the study plan and implementation of the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on June 2, 2011, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Party Committee of the University of Natural Sciences organized a conference to disseminate the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 4th Party Congress of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the Action Program for implementing the resolutions of the Party congresses at all levels, to cadres, staff, and Party members of the two universities.

Review of the results of leadership work from March to May 20, 2011, and key tasks from May 20 to June 30, 2011, of the School Party Committee.

A friendly but very frank discussion on the issue of young staff members and scientific research, organized by the university's Youth Union, took place in the auditorium on the 5th floor of building H on the morning of May 12, 2011.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's departure to seek a path to national salvation (June 5, 1911 – June 5, 2011), four student unions from the Faculties of Philosophy, History, Management Science, and Political Science jointly organized the second "Understanding Ho Chi Minh's Thought" competition.

On April 23, 2011, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held its 2011 Party work conference.

The 23rd Conference of the Standing Committee of the Trade Union Cluster of 5 Universities was recently held in Da Nang City. This year's conference was hosted by the Standing Committee of the Trade Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi).

On January 19, 2011, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities signed a Decision awarding Certificates of Commendation to 5 Party branches and 20 Party members for their outstanding contributions to Party building work in 2010.

On December 11, 2010, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held the opening ceremony for the Party awareness training course for 275 outstanding union members, including staff and students.

The Faculty and Student Singing Contest, celebrating the 65th anniversary of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, will be held over three evenings: November 10, 11, and 13, 2010.

The Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the evaluation of leadership results for July, August, and September 2010, and the key tasks for October 2010.

On the afternoon of September 29, 2010, the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the school organized a seminar entitled "Reading Culture Among Students Today".

On September 27th, the Party Cell of the Philosophy Department held a ceremony to present the 40-year Party Membership Badge to Comrade Duong Van Duyen, a lecturer in the Philosophy Department.
