University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

The conference summarizing the trade union activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2012 took place on January 25, 2012. The conference heard reports on the trade union's activities over the past year and discussed the contents and directions for the upcoming academic year.

To equip class, youth union, and student association officers with the necessary skills and expertise, the Political and Student Affairs Department (CT&CTSV) collaborated with the University's Youth Union and Student Association to organize the "Training Conference for Class, Youth Union, and Student Association Officers for the 2012-2013 Academic Year" from December 22nd to 23rd, 2012.

Discussion Center No. 8 of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union (2012-2017) was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on the afternoon of December 11, 2012. The discussion topic of the Center was "Youth Volunteering for Community Life".

The 8th National Youth Union Congress Discussion Center was held at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) on December 11, 2012, with the theme "Youth taking the lead and volunteering for community life." Delegates enthusiastically discussed various issues to propose solutions for developing the youth volunteer movement to a new level.

In order to consolidate and unify the organizational structure and operating methods of the affiliated branches of the Youth Union and Student Association, on the morning of November 4, 2012, the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language held the inauguration ceremony for the Faculty's first Inter-branch Youth Union and Inter-branch Student Association.

On October 24, 2012, the Youth Union of the Administrative Staff Block held its General Meeting for the 2012-2013 term.

On October 19, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a conference to summarize the trade union's work for the 2011-2012 academic year and to disseminate the Law on Higher Education.

On the evening of October 4, 2012, the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities hosted the Closing Ceremony of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and the awarding of "Outstanding Students of Vietnam National University, Hanoi" for the 2011-2012 academic year.

In accordance with Official Letter No. 206/HD-CĐN dated May 29, 2012, from the Vietnam Education Trade Union and Official Letter No. 49/CĐ ĐHQGHN dated June 5, 2012, from the Trade Union of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, regarding the "Awarding of Commemorative Medals for the Cause of Building Trade Union Organizations" in 2012, the Executive Committee of the University's Trade Union requests the executive committees of the trade unions of the units to study and implement the contents of the above official letters (attached) and submit the award nomination dossiers to the University's Trade Union Office before June 18, 2012.

On April 7, 2012, the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held its 2012 Party work conference.

Reviewing the results of leadership work in January and February 2012, and the key tasks for March and April 2012 of the School Party Committee.

In preparation for the 7th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mr. Trinh Minh Thai (Secretary of the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) assessed the results of political and ideological education and moral lifestyle education for union members and students during the 2009-2012 term.

In preparation for the 7th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Mr. Pham Duc Anh (Deputy Secretary of the University's Youth Union) assessed the Youth Union's activities and scientific research work of young staff members at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

On the morning of February 11, 2012, the Veterans Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held its 4th Congress (2012-2017 term). The Congress was successfully concluded.
