The research project entitled “The Influence of Parental Support and Psychological Control on Learning Motivation in High School Students: The Mediating Role of Self-Ability,” conducted by students Tran Ngoc Son, Dang Ha Thu, and Tran Dieu Tu, under the guidance of Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh Thu, won first prize at the University level at the 2026 Student Scientific Research Conference.

On the morning of May 22, 2026, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, organized a training program on the theme "Social Sciences and Humanities in the AI ​​Era: Tools, Methods, and Practical Applications," aiming to update knowledge and enhance the capacity to apply artificial intelligence (AI) in research, teaching, and scientific publication for its faculty and researchers.

On the morning of May 22, 2026, within the framework of the Social Sciences & Humanities Week – SSHWeek 2026, the Faculty of Politics and International Studies of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized an international scientific conference on the theme “New Trends in International Relations from the Beginning of the 21st Century and their Impact on Vietnam”. The conference attracted the participation of numerous scientists, experts, lecturers, students, and those interested in the field of international relations.

On the morning of May 21, 2026, the Faculty of Philosophy and Management Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) successfully organized a scientific conference on the theme "Intellectual Property Management in the Creative Economy in the Context of Artificial Intelligence Technology Development". The conference opened a national-scale academic forum, bringing together leading experts to discuss the creation of a sustainable creative ecosystem that balances the benefits of AI and intellectual property rights.

On May 20, 2026, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Faculty of Information Management organized the workshop “Digital Competence in Higher Education: Assessment, Measurement, and Policy Implications” within the framework of the Social Sciences and Humanities Week - SSHWeek 2026. The workshop served as an important academic forum, bringing together administrators, experts, scientists, lecturers, researchers, trainees, and students to exchange ideas on developing digital competence, AI capabilities, and policy implications for Vietnamese higher education in the context of digital transformation.

This was the topic of a seminar organized by the Faculty of Literature (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) on May 20, 2026.

This morning, May 19, 2026, within the framework of the Social Sciences and Humanities Week – SSH Week 2026, the Faculty of History and Culture, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, hosted the scientific conference “Heritage Economy: From Theory to Policy and Sustainable Development Practice”.

This is not only an important academic forum but also a space for disseminating knowledge, inspiring scientific research, innovation, civic responsibility, and a desire to contribute among faculty, scientists, and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
