University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

Students had the opportunity to experience various aspects of Vietnamese culture and the cultures of other countries around the world at the International Students New Year Festival 2025, organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi on December 27, 2024.

On December 10, 2024, the QS ranking organization announced the results of the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2025 for 1,751 higher education institutions worldwide. In this ranking, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) made significant progress, ranking 325th globally (an increase of 456 places compared to its ranking in the top 781-790 in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024), 51st in Asia, and 1st in Vietnam. The results were announced on the anniversary of VNU's founding (December 10, 1993 - December 10, 2024).

To commemorate the Government's issuance of the Decree on Vietnam National University, Hanoi (December 10, 1993 - December 10, 2024), the Vietnam National University, Hanoi's Electronic Information Portal respectfully presents an article by Professor Vu Minh Giang, Chairman of the Science and Technology Council of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and former Vice Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on the major and important orientations of the Party for the development of Vietnam National University, Hanoi in the new period. On December 9, 2024, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) organized a conference to study, research, and thoroughly understand some major orientations of the Party and the directives of General Secretary To Lam.

"The Role and Mission of National Universities in the Era of National Advancement" was the theme of the 2024 Annual Conference jointly organized by Vietnam National University Hanoi and Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City on December 7, 2024.

(Nhandan.vn) On October 16th, a scientific conference titled "Perspectives and Solutions for Building and Developing the Country and Protecting the Fatherland until 2030, with a Vision to 2045" was held in Hanoi. The conference, organized by the Central Theoretical Council in collaboration with Hanoi National University, aimed to propose perspectives and orientations for solutions to build and develop the country and protect the Fatherland until 2030, with a vision to 2045, contributing to the completion of the draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party, especially the political report in the near future.

(VNU) On the afternoon of September 24, 2024, at Xuan Thuy, the Vietnam National University, Hanoi Trade Union, in coordination with the Youth Union and Student Association of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, held a meeting and presented many meaningful gifts to students whose families suffered heavy losses due to the recent Typhoon No. 3.

The Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi has issued Official Letter 1944/ĐHQGHN-KHCN announcing the research topics for science and technology projects in 2025.
