The training activity on developing and adjusting training programs (CTĐT) and course outlines for undergraduate and postgraduate levels was held on June 11-12, 2025 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.

On June 11, 2025, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) welcomed and worked with Mr. HAMAYA Kenichi, representative of the Sumitomo Foundation (Japan).

The first course "The Essence of Oriental Philosophy" organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU-USSH), focusing on applying Philosophy to business administration, successfully closed on June 7, 2025 after a memorable journey of learning and sharing.

On June 4, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province (People's Committee of Ninh Binh province) and the Institute of Han Nom Studies (Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences) to organize the international scientific conference "Han Nom inscriptions of Non Nuoc mountain: Potential of documentary heritage".

On June 3, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities issued Information on regular university admissions in 2025 according to Decision No. 4009 QD-XHNV.

On May 28, 2025, the President of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, had a meeting with Mr. Rogelio Polanco Fuente - Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam and Professor Rogelio Sierra Díaz - Director of the Raúl Roa García Institute for Advanced International Relations (Cuba).

This morning, May 24, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) organized the first exam (Literature) of the entrance exam for grade 10 of the High School for the Gifted in Social Sciences and Humanities for the 2025-2026 school year.

On the morning of May 20, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-Hanoi had a meeting to exchange and share experiences in financial management and implementing university autonomy mechanisms with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM. The meeting was an opportunity for the two universities to discuss practical operating models, strategies, tools and challenges in the current university autonomy process.

President Ho Chi Minh visited Hanoi University of Science (now Hanoi National University) three times and gave valuable teachings to generations of students and lecturers of the University. His teachings on "studying to serve the Fatherland", "study must go hand in hand with practice", "loving the country is studying", have become the guiding principles for the educational activities and development of Hanoi National University.

On May 17, 2025, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) in collaboration with the Libero Institute for Liberal Education Development officially opened a course on Applied Eastern Philosophy with the theme "The Quintessence of Eastern Philosophy".

On May 18, at the online bridge of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH), more than 500 party members who are lecturers and students of the University participated in the National Conference to disseminate and implement Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW, dated April 30, 2025 of the Politburo on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of national reunification, on the morning of May 14, 2025, the Faculty of Literature - University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU organized a discussion on Nguyen Duy's Poetry: "Looking for relatives".

Friday, May 9, 2025 - The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) has successfully organized a seminar with the topic: "Collaborative research between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) and the Australian National University on the Pre-Neolithic and Neolithic periods in Vietnam (2015-2025)". This is an opportunity for lecturers, students and students of the University to meet and exchange expertise with Professor Peter Stafford Bellwood, Honorary Professor at the Australian National University (ANU), one of the world's leading scholars on human prehistory in the Asia-Pacific region.

On the afternoon of April 29, 2025, archaeologists from the Faculty of History, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province, Nghe An Museum and Australian National University organized a preliminary report on the results of the archaeological excavation of the Quynh Van site.
