1,189 students from the QH-2006-X cohort received their diplomas.

On June 29, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a graduation ceremony and awarded Bachelor of Science degrees to 1,189 students of the QH-2006-X cohort.

1,189 students from the QH-2006-X cohort received their diplomas.
On June 29, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a graduation ceremony and awarded Bachelor of Science degrees to 1,189 students of the QH-2006-X cohort.The QH-2006-X cohort was the first to apply many new elements of credit-based training, from the curriculum and course outlines to assessment methods and grading, except for course registration. Of the 1,189 graduating students, 1,075 were from the standard program (91%), 6.44% were from the high-quality program, and 38 were from the international joint program (3.22%). The QH-2006-X cohort saw a dramatic increase in the number of excellent and good graduates, the highest ever, with 17 students graduating with excellent grades (1.43%) and 344 students graduating with good grades (28.93%). The high-quality program had 73 out of 76 students graduating with excellent or good grades (9.21%). The average number of graduates was the lowest ever, with only 17 students, representing a rate of 1.43%. Seven out of fifteen standard training programs had no graduates with an average grade; the highest number of international graduates was recorded at 38; and a new program, Social Work, had its first graduating class, with 53% of students achieving excellent or good grades.

The entire cohort had 683 students participating in scientific research, of which 76 students won awards at the university level and 7 students won awards at the ministerial level. The number of students receiving bonus points for scientific research was the highest ever, with 82 students. Oriental Studies continued to have the highest percentage of excellent and good students: 5 excellent students out of a total of 17 excellent students in the entire university; and 50 good students out of a total of 339 good students in the entire university.

The QH-2006-X cohort was also the first cohort of students to participate in the teacher evaluation activity and the first to establish alumni liaison committees to maintain contact with the university and with alumni. For their outstanding achievements in academics and work, the QH-2006-X cohort had 8 students who received commendations from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi; and 276 students who received certificates of merit from the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The QH-2006-X cohort is the 51st graduating class of the university. This graduation took place at a very significant time, as many important events for the university have occurred, are occurring, and are about to occur. The Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities also successfully held its 26th delegate congress with a new leadership and action plan, determined to comprehensively develop the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and fulfill its great and glorious mission. Also at the end of this year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will celebrate its 65th anniversary. This is an opportunity for the university to look back on its journey of many achievements and to set directions for the next stage.
