On June 29, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a graduation ceremony and awarded bachelor of science degrees to 1,189 students of the QH-2006-X course.The QH-2006-X course is the first course to apply many new elements of credit training from the training program, course outline, assessment and scoring methods... except for course registration. Among the 1,189 graduates, there are 1,075 standard students accounting for 91%, CLC students accounting for 6.44%, and 38 international joint students accounting for 3.22%. The QH-2006-X course has a sudden increase in the number of excellent and good students, the highest ever with 17 excellent graduates, accounting for 1.43% and 344 excellent graduates, accounting for 28.93%. The school's high-quality system has 73/76 excellent and good graduates, accounting for 9.21%. The average number of graduates is the lowest ever, with only 17 students accounting for 1.43%. 7/15 standard training programs have no average graduates; the highest number of foreign graduates is 38 students; there is a new training program in the school with the first graduating class, which is social work, of which 53% of students are excellent and good.
The entire course had 683 students participating in scientific research, of which 76 students won the School-level scientific research award, 7 students won the Ministry-level scientific research award. The number of students receiving bonus points for scientific research was the highest ever with 82 students. Oriental Studies is still the major with the highest rate of excellent and good students: 5 excellent students out of a total of 17 excellent students in the whole school; 50 good students out of a total of 339 good students in the whole school.
The QH-2006-X class is also the first class of students to participate in the student-teacher evaluation activity and is also the first class to establish Alumni Liaison Committees to maintain contact with the school and with alumni. For their outstanding achievements in study and work, the QH-2006-X class has 08 students receiving certificates of merit from the Director of VNU; 276 students receiving certificates of merit from the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The QH-2006-X class is the 51st class of students to graduate. This is a class graduating at a very meaningful time when many important events of the school have taken place, are taking place and will take place. The Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has just successfully organized the 26th Congress of Delegates with a new leadership and action plan determined to develop the University of Social Sciences and Humanities comprehensively, fulfilling its great and glorious mission. Also at the end of this year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will celebrate its 65th anniversary. This is an opportunity for the school to look back on its past achievements and set direction for the next stage.
