Announcement of the appointment of the Dean's Board of the Faculty of Tourism Studies.

On June 30, 2010, the Faculty of Tourism Studies held a ceremony to announce the appointment of the Faculty's leadership board for the 2010-2015 term and to award diplomas to students of the QH-2006-X cohort. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Rector of the University - along with many representatives from partner units and agencies, came to congratulate the Faculty.
On June 30, 2010, the Faculty of Tourism Studies held a ceremony to announce the appointment of the Faculty's leadership board for the 2010-2015 term and to award diplomas to students of the QH-2006-X cohort. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Rector of the University - along with many representatives from partner units and agencies, came to congratulate the Faculty.On behalf of the University leadership, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu presented the appointment decisions for the new Faculty of Tourism Studies to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa - Dean, Ms. Trinh Le Anh - Vice Dean, and Ms. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice Dean. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu expressed his hope that the new, young, and enthusiastic leadership team will have creative thinking and actions to continue making the Faculty of Tourism Studies a strong training institution in tourism nationwide. On behalf of the new Dean's Board, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa expressed gratitude to the previous Dean's Board for their contributions to the Faculty's development over the past years. Following the announcement of the Dean's Board appointments, the Faculty of Tourism Studies held a graduation ceremony for students of the QH-2006-X cohort. This year, the Faculty has 87 graduating students, including 8 students with excellent grades, 75 students with good grades, and 9 students who received awards for their outstanding academic and work achievements. Many students from the 2006-X graduating class won the Outstanding Young Face Award of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and received numerous scholarships from the University as well as organizations and individuals both domestically and internationally. The 2006-X graduating class also pioneered career guidance activities within the Faculty and other community service activities. Currently, the Faculty of Tourism Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is one of the earliest university-level tourism training units in Vietnam, and the first in the country to be authorized to train Master's degree holders in Tourism, meeting the demand for high-level human resources in management, training, and practical implementation in tourism establishments nationwide. Over the past 15 years, the Faculty of Tourism Studies has trained nearly 10,000 students and trainees across various programs. Many of them have achieved success in their careers and hold key management positions in tourism companies and agencies. Currently, the Faculty is expanding its collaborative training programs through dual degree programs, articulation agreements; college-to-university articulation programs; short-term training programs; scientific research and technology transfer collaborations; and training and human resource supply collaborations.
