Announcement of the decision to appoint the BCN of the Faculty of Tourism Studies

On June 30, 2010, the Faculty of Tourism Studies held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint the Faculty of Tourism Studies' Board of Directors for the 2010-2015 term and to award graduation certificates to students of the QH-2006-X course. Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Principal of the School - and many representatives of partner units and agencies came to congratulate the Faculty.On behalf of the school's leadership, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu presented the decision to appoint the new term of the Faculty of Tourism Studies Board of Directors to Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa - Head of the Faculty, MSc. Trinh Le Anh - Vice Head of the Faculty, MSc. Nguyen Thu Thuy - Vice Head of the Faculty. Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu expressed his hope that the new, young and enthusiastic leadership team of the Faculty will have creative thinking and actions to make the Faculty of Tourism Studies continue to be a strong tourism training institution in the country. On behalf of the new term of the Board of Directors, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa expressed her gratitude to the previous term of the Board of Directors for their contributions to the development of the Faculty in the past time. Following the announcement ceremony of the decision to appoint the Board of Directors, the Faculty of Tourism Studies held a graduation ceremony for students of the QH-2006-X course. This year, the Faculty has 87 graduates, including 08 students with excellent grades, 75 students with good grades, 09 students were awarded for their good achievements in studying and working. Many faces of QH-2006-X won the Outstanding Young Faces award of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and received many scholarships from the University as well as organizations and individuals at home and abroad. QH-2006-X is also the leading class in the career guidance activities of the Faculty, other community activities. Currently, the Faculty of Tourism Studies of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is one of the oldest tourism training units at the university level in Vietnam, the first unit in the country to be allowed to train masters in Tourism, meeting the demand for high-level human resources in management, training and implementation at tourism establishments nationwide. Over the past 15 years, the Faculty of Tourism has trained nearly 10,000 students of all levels. Many of them have been successful in their careers and hold key management positions in tourism companies and agencies.
