On July 1st, 2010, the Faculty of Information and Library Science held a graduation ceremony for 72 students of the QH-2006-X cohort.
On July 1st, 2010, the Faculty of Information and Library Science held a graduation ceremony for 72 students of the QH-2006-X cohort.Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim – Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – attended the ceremony. Notably, representatives from several partner organizations of the Faculty, such as CMC Company and the Information and Library Center of the University of Labor and Social Affairs, were present at the graduation ceremony to identify outstanding students for recruitment positions. Among the 72 graduating students this year, 26 achieved excellent grades, 46 achieved good grades, and none received average grades. The valedictorian of the Faculty was Tran Duc Hoa with a score of 3.59. The Rector of the University awarded commendations to 7 students with excellent academic achievements; 1 student with outstanding academic achievements; 1 student with outstanding achievements in student union activities; and 1 student who overcame difficulties to excel in their studies. In the summary report of the course, Ms. Tran Huu Huynh - Vice Dean of the Faculty - highly appreciated the achievements of the QH-2006-X cohort in terms of academics, scientific research, and extracurricular activities. The QH-2006-X cohort had 8 students who won scientific research awards at the University and Faculty levels; 7 students received certificates of merit from the district youth union where they volunteered and certificates of merit from the University Youth Union; 1 student received a Certificate of Merit from the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi for academic achievements; 20 students received certificates of merit from the Rector for good academic and work performance; 1 student received the title of Outstanding Young Person at the Vietnam National University, Hanoi level; and 12 students received the title of Outstanding Young Person at the University level. During their studies, students in this cohort also received 40 scholarships from the University as well as many domestic and international organizations.
