Program: "Training Future ASEAN Leaders"

The school has received notification from Vietnam National University, Hanoi regarding the "Training Program for Future ASEAN Leaders". The school would like to inform students about the exchange program as follows:
  • PurposeBy participating in the program at Daejeon University, South Korea, students have the excellent opportunity to study in international training programs at Daejeon University, and to become exemplary future leaders through advanced leadership courses with high-tech teaching methods and modern equipment. In addition, the program focuses on training students to become ASEAN leaders through practical programs at international organizations and government agencies in South Korea such as UN-APCICT, IE, KNCU, KIEP, and the ASEAN-Korea Center.
  • Exchange time: 1 year (term starts September 2017)
  • Language learning: English.
  • Selection criteria:
    • Nominated by the Training Unit.
    • At least 02 (two) semesters must be completed.
    • Having a good academic record (GPA of 3.0 or higher)
    • Possess strong spoken and written English skills (English language certificate IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, valid according to VNU regulations).
    • I am in good health.
  • Application requirements:Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) plans to send 10 undergraduate students for an exchange program.
  • Registration form:Students nominated by the faculty for exchange programs should contact Ms. Pham Thi Quynh Huong, Room 609B, Building E, directly for guidance on registration procedures.
  • Application deadline:June 24, 2017.
  • Scholarship:Daejeon University offers scholarships that cover tuition, accommodation, food, round-trip airfare, basic health insurance, and a monthly living allowance of $300 per student.
