Rules
1. Contestants:
- Generations of students and alumni of the Faculty
- Staff and lecturers participating in work and teaching at the Faculty
- Others interested
* Encourage inviting design professionals to participate in expressing ideas.
- Can compete in groups or individually.
- Maximum 3 people per group.
2. Content requirements:
- Demonstrates the typical spirit and unique values of the field of study. The message is clear and effective.
- Logo and slogan can be registered for intellectual property protection, not duplicated with any existing logo and slogan.
- The contest logo must comply with the following basic requirements:
+ Demonstrate the core values and characteristics of the Management Science industry, emphasizing the Management Science of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
+ Meet design drawing requirements such as: aesthetics, easy to remember, easy to recognize, impressive to the public (expressed through color, lines, layout, meaning...)
3. Form requirements:
- Logo and Slogan are inseparable.
- Simple, modern, conceptual and artistic.
- Easy to use when printing in black and white.
- Easy to display on different materials.
4. Requirements for application documents:
- The work is designed by computer, displayed on A4 white paper in true color (clearly stating CMYK color index). The largest dimension of the drawing is not more than 15cm. In the lower right corner there is a black and white miniature sample, the largest dimension is not more than 3cm.
- 01 summary of creative ideas no more than 500 words.
- 01 contact information clearly stating the author's full name, ID card number, contact address, phone number, email and other information about the author.
- 01 image file (.png) with original design file (.ai, .psd, …).
- File name is based on author's name and ID number (eg: Nguyen Van A - 123456789).
5. Time for submission of entries:
- Time for submitting entries starts from May 1, 2017 to June 30, 2017;
+ The contest consists of 2 rounds
-Preliminary Round: Design
+ Time: From May 1, 2017 to June 30, 2017
+ Content: Contest groups/individuals send their designs to email:lcdkhqlussh@gmail.com. Select 06-10 groups/individuals for the final round.
+ The title of the email is: “Faculty logo design contest entryManagement Science”
- Final round: Presentation
+ Time: July 15, 2017
+ Location: Faculty of Management Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, 336 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.
+ Content: Presentation on logo and slogan design.
- The winning work will continue to be improved.

7.Rights and responsibilities of contestants:
- Contestants must comply with the rules provided by the Organizing Committee, including ensuring:
+ The contest logo is not subject to copyright dispute;
+ The contest logo has not been used or appeared on any mass media in the country or abroad;
+ The winning logo of this contest may not be used in any other media publication or contest of a similar nature.
- In case a copyright dispute arises after the contest product wins a prize, the contestant must take full responsibility before the law;
- The prize will be awarded directly to the individual or organization whose product won the prize or to the person authorized by the individual whose product won the prize at the end of the contest. In case the author is unable to attend the award ceremony, the Council will send it by post.
8.Rules on prizes and awarding of prizes:
- Contest prizes include:
+ 01 First Prize: including Certificate of Award, prize value5.000.000copper;
+ 01 most favorite prize: including Award Certificate, prize value1,000,000copper
+ Works selected for the final round will be supported with 200,000 VND/work
The Faculty of Management Sciences is continuing to solicit sponsorship and will announce other secondary awards as determined by the sponsors.
The award ceremony will be held publicly by the Faculty of Management Science.
- Notice of winning products will be posted on the bulletin board of the Faculty of Management Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, posted on the faculty's website, social networking sites of students and alumni of the faculty.
- In addition, based on the actual judging, the Jury may decide to add some additional prizes.
9.Regulations on ownership of award-winning works:
- The Faculty of Management Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities owns the copyright for indefinite use as well as full intellectual property registration rights for the first, second and third prize winning designs;
- The Faculty of Management Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities has full authority to decide which logo model to apply in practice and has the right to request the author to modify and supplement some details to suit the characteristics of the Faculty (if any);
- During the contest period, authors are not allowed to use the logos of this contest to participate in any other contest.
