In recent days, many candidates who did not get accepted into their first choice but achieved the minimum admission score of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (Group A: 16, Group B: 195, Group C: 18, Group D: 17) have asked the following question: "Will the university automatically transfer these candidates to other majors that still have available slots and have a cutoff score equal to or lower than the score the candidate achieved?"

In recent days, many candidates who did not get accepted into their first choice but achieved the minimum admission score of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (Group A: 16, Group B: 195, Group C: 18, Group D: 17) have asked the following question: "Will the university automatically transfer these candidates to other majors that still have available slots and have a cutoff score equal to or lower than the score the candidate achieved?"The University of Social Sciences and Humanities responds as follows: On May 4, 2012, the Ministry of Education and Training issued document No. 2636/BGDĐT-KTKĐCLGD regarding the guidance on admission applications for the 2012 University and College entrance exams. According to this guidance, the University will NOT automatically transfer candidates who failed their first choice to the supplementary admissions process. The University will only consider supplementary admissions for candidates who submitted applications according to the announced guidelines.View the supplementary admission announcement here.All candidates with 2012 university entrance exam scores of 16 points or higher for Group A, 18 points or higher for Group C, and 17 points or higher for Group D, regardless of their first-choice university, are eligible to register for supplementary admission to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
