In recent days, many candidates who did not pass their first choice but achieved the minimum score of VNU or higher (group A: 16, group B: 195, group C: 18, group D: 17) have asked the following question: "Will the school automatically transfer these candidates to majors that still have quotas and have a standard score equal to or lower than the score the candidates achieved?"The University of Social Sciences and Humanities responds as follows: On May 4, 2012, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Document No. 2636/BGDĐT-KTKĐCLGD on Guidelines for admission to the 2012 University and College entrance exams. According to this guideline, the School DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFER candidates who fail their first choice for additional admission. The School only considers additional admission to candidates who submit applications for admission according to the announced guidelines. (
See additional recruitment notice here) All candidates with 2012 university entrance exam results of 16 points or higher for group A, 18 points or higher for group C, 17 points or higher for group D, regardless of which school they take the first choice exam at, have the right to register for additional admission to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
