On August 1, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held a graduation ceremony for students of the QH-2008-X course. Attending the ceremony was Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc - Vice President of VNU.The QH-2008-X course is the second course to be trained entirely by credit method and has many changes in training programs as well as developments in training organization. However, the learning results of the QH-2008-X course are quite good: 1,414 students enrolled, after 4 years of study, 1,199 students were recognized as graduates, accounting for 84.79%, higher than the rate of the QH-2007-X course. In particular, due to knowing how to promote the advantages of credit-based training, the number of students graduating early in this course increased significantly with 177 students, accounting for 13.81%. The QH-2008-X course graduated with 1.14% excellent students, 31.24% excellent students, 66.31% good students. The number of students winning scientific research awards is 11.51%. There are 44 students admitted to the Party. According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim, the QH-2008-X course is a course with many special marks, reflecting the clear changes in the training activities of the School in recent years. The School has focused a lot of effort and effort to complete the adjustment of training programs, innovate teaching methods in the direction of constantly improving training quality, enhancing international integration capacity and creating high connectivity between majors. Besides traditional majors, the School has also opened many new majors suitable to social needs. The development of traditional majors and new majors has made the School's training programs more attractive to society. Along with the School implementing many positive solutions to bring TCDT into depth, students have shown increasingly good adaptation to this training method, especially the initiative in planning study has been significantly improved.

In that context, the QH-2008-X course is the first course with two training majors that have graduated students for the first time, namely Political Science and Vietnamese Studies; the first course with students meeting international standards with 11 students majoring in Linguistics; the first course with students graduating with a double degree with 22 students majoring in Journalism and Tourism Studies. Among the 53 foreign students graduating this time, there are 06 excellent students, 04 students with good grades and 35 students with good grades. This is also the first course of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language with 02 foreign students graduating early. At the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc - Vice President of VNU - praised the excellent achievements of teachers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the past school year. The school is a pioneer unit in VNU, leading in credit training and program conversion. VNU also recognized the results of the University in promoting foreign language training according to standards, soft skills training, increasing the number of foreign students coming to study - an important indicator for international integration... The University is also a pioneer in improving the quality of training through research, paying attention to equipping students with the ability to self-study and educating humanistic thinking. With the knowledge acquired in 4 years of university, combined with love and pride for the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Professor Nguyen Huu Duc believes that the new graduates will have a solid foundation to start a successful career.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc awarded certificates of merit from the Director of VNU to 13 students with excellent academic performance throughout the course. The Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities also awarded certificates of merit to 310 excellent graduates. In the awarding of academic achievements in the 2011-2012 school year of the QH-2008-X course, the Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities awarded certificates of merit to 18 students with excellent academic performance, 17 students with excellent achievements in the work of the Youth Union and Association, and 16 students who overcame difficulties to excel in their studies.
