1. From October 10, 2011, the University will change the student portal to the following address:
daotao.vnu.edu.vn
The new portal, in addition to its previous functions (course registration, exam schedule viewing, academic results viewing, etc.), now includes features such as automatic password reset, student profile updates, and exam result notifications via SMS. The login account for the new portal is the student account used to register their student information (if the password hasn't been changed, the default password is the student ID number). 2. For students from the 2010 cohort and earlier, when the system reports a login error, follow these steps: Step 1: Check if you have entered the correct username (student ID number) and password. Remember to disable Caps Lock and use Vietnamese language. If it still doesn't work, ensure you have entered the correct username and proceed to step 2. Step 2: Declare your password for automatic reset - Click on "Forgot password" in the bottom left corner of the system login box and follow the instructions. Students must use the email address they registered in the system.
Common mistakes in step 2:- Not yet registered in the system, therefore no email address for password reset. - Registered but omitted the email address field or provided an incorrect email address. - Registered with email A but used email B during the registration process to reset the password. 3. For students of the 2011 cohort, the system login account is: - Username: Student ID - Default password: Student ID
Note:- After a successful first login, students need to change their password and remember the new password for subsequent use.
