The University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the nomination of staff to participate in the 2010 Senior Lecturer Promotion Examination.

1. Eligible contestantsCandidates in the Associate Professor – Senior Lecturer category (code 15.110)
2. Conditions and criteria for participation in the examCandidates must meet the following conditions and criteria:
- Candidates currently holding the rank of Associate Professor – Senior Lecturer, capable of assuming or currently working in a position consistent with the responsibilities and duties of the Senior Lecturer rank as stipulated in Decision No. 538/TCCP-BCTL dated December 18, 1995, of the Minister in charge of the Government's Organization and Personnel Committee.
- Currently teaching at higher education institutions, holding the rank of Associate Professor - Senior Lecturer or equivalent for 6 years or more.
- Having a salary coefficient of 5.42 or higher.
- Have a PhD or higher
- He holds an advanced diploma in political theory.
- Having projects and scientific research works as prescribed for the senior lecturer rank;
- Applicants must be evaluated by their employing institution as having performed their duties well for three consecutive years up to the application deadline, possess good moral character and organizational discipline, and have the capacity for teaching and scientific research; they must not be currently under disciplinary action or under consideration for disciplinary action according to the law.
- The candidate must be unanimously nominated to participate in the examination by the competent authority responsible for managing candidates.
3. Content and format of the exam
- Candidates must take all of the following exams:
- The essay will cover topics related to the strategic direction of education and training development and general knowledge as required for the senior teacher rank.
- The exam involves defending a scientific project on professional and teaching skills relevant to the current field of work.
- Take a foreign language proficiency test at level C (in one of five languages: English, Russian, French, German, or Chinese) covering listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Candidates applying to teach foreign languages must take a second foreign language test.
- Practical exam in office computer skills.
4. Exemption from the foreign language and computer science exams.
- Candidates with a second university degree in a foreign language are exempt from the foreign language exam.
- Candidates who have graduated from a vocational college or higher in information technology are exempt from the computer science exam.
5. Application documents:
- Application form for promotion from Senior Lecturer to Senior Lecturer (form No. 1)
- The candidates' academic resumes must be no more than 3 months old from the application deadline. (according to form number 2)
- Candidate evaluation report from the head of the unit managing the candidate at the time of the application deadline. (according to form number 3)
- Copies of diplomas and certificates as required for the senior teacher rank.
- A list of scientific research projects and works that have been recognized by the school's or department's scientific council and have been effectively implemented (with acceptance results and confirmation from the Ministry, Department, or Provincial level);
- The most recent salary ranking decision
6. Application deadlineApplications must be submitted to the Human Resources Department no later than 11:00 AM on November 10, 2010. (Candidates' application envelopes should be made of non-absorbent, durable paper, measuring 250 x 340 x 5 mm, and include two 4 x 6 cm photos). Unit heads are requested to inform their staff about this document and nominate qualified candidates to participate.
