In accordance with the school year plan and in preparation for the Lunar New Year (Tet) of Tan Mao 2011, the school announces the following work schedule and Tet holiday schedule:
In accordance with the school year plan and in preparation for the Lunar New Year (Tet) of Tan Mao 2011, the school announces the following work schedule and Tet holiday schedule: 1. Tet Holiday Schedule- Faculty and students: Holiday from January 24, 2011 (21st day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Tiger) to February 7, 2011 (5th day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit). However, students and faculty members who are assigned to exam supervision duties until January 27 will have their Tet holiday break after completing their duties. - Administrative staff: Work on January 29, 2011 (Saturday) and January 30, 2011 (Sunday) and holiday from January 31, 2011 (28th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Tiger) to February 7, 2011 (5th day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Rabbit). The above holiday period includes compensatory leave as per the Labor Law.2. Activities to celebrate Tet (Lunar New Year)- Organize a New Year's gathering with retired staff at 8:00 AM on Monday, January 24, 2011 (the 21st day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Tiger) at the auditorium on the 8th floor of building E. - Coordinate with the University of Science to organize a conference summarizing the work of 2010 and a New Year's gathering with agencies, units, and localities at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 (the 22nd day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Tiger) at the 4th floor of building T1, University of Science. - University leaders will visit and extend New Year greetings to the families and former Rectors and Party Secretaries of Hanoi University who have retired. - Organize an incense offering ceremony at the Temple of Literature and Soc Son Temple (Soc Son, Hanoi) from 8:30 AM on February 6, 2011 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Rabbit). The vehicle carrying officials to offer incense departed from the school at 8:00 AM on the same day.3. Implementation- Heads of units shall inform all staff and students of the work schedule and Tet holiday plan, and organize a thoughtful Tet celebration for their staff and students. The Administrative and Management Department shall inspect the lecture hall areas; heads of units shall inspect their offices and take measures to ensure fire safety, security, and seal the offices and filing cabinets at the end of the workday on January 30, 2011. Each unit shall appoint one staff member to be on duty for easy contact when necessary (report the list, address, and phone number to the school via the Administrative and Management Department).
