On the morning of December 1, 2009, in the school-wide meeting, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal emphasized a number of key tasks that must be carried out in December 2009.
1. Party work, organization, propaganda, and unions
- Strengthening the Party Executive Committee for the 25th term;
- Organizing the assessment of the quality of party cells and party members in 2009;
- Organize Party awareness training classes for outstanding union members;
- Organizing the Trade Union Congress (December 11-12) and the School Youth Union Congress (December 25-26);
- Perfecting the organizational structure and personnel of departments and centers for the 2009-2014 term;
- Complete the classification of workers receiving additional income in 2009;
- Complete the staff training plan for the 2009-2010 school year.
2. Training, student affairs, quality control and inspection
- Organize for full-time students to register for courses of semester II;
- Promote academic advisor consulting activities for students;
- Develop an international joint training project (2+2) in Journalism, Mass Communication and Advertising with Guangxi University (China);
- Develop training projects for a number of majors/specializations at international level at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Summary of lecture evaluation work for the 2008-2009 school year;
- Awarding of master's degrees, 2nd batch, 2009.
3. Scientific research and international cooperation:
- Organizing the Interdisciplinary Research Workshop in Social Sciences and Humanities: Experience and Prospects:
- Standing meeting of the Science and Training Council to review the 2009 science and technology plan.
4. Administrative, management and financial work:
- Financial settlement 2009;
- Organize conferences to provide guidance on financial work for units.
