The organizing committee of the Academic Advisor Skills Competition has launched a contest titled "Assigning Questions and Scenarios for Academic Advisors" exclusively for students. The purpose of the contest is for students to participate in developing scenarios requiring solutions regarding academic advising; from there, typical scenarios will be selected to serve as exam questions for academic advisors participating in the competition.Specifically, the Center for Journalism and Communication Training will award a prize worth 500,000 VND and a scholarship reducing the tuition fee by 50% for the "
Television broadcasting" or "
Journalism writing skills" for the situation that received the most public votes. In addition, the competition awarded a total of nearly 30 other prizes judged by the organizing committee and voted on by the public.
1. Eligible contestants
All full-time students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities are eligible to participate. Candidates can be a single student or a group of students (no limit on the number), and from now on, they will be collectively referred to as candidates.
2. Exam content
- Candidates will participate by presenting a problem-solving scenario within the scope of the academic advisor's duties (see the regulations on the duties of academic advisors in Article 39 of the Training Regulations at VNU, issued under Decision No. 3079/QD-VNU, dated October 26, 2010), focusing on the relationship between academic advisors and students in guiding them on regulations, training programs, study planning, learning methods, and career orientation. - There is no limit to the number of scenarios a candidate can submit.
3. How to participate
There are two ways to participate: -
Method 1Candidates access the university's website at ussh.edu.vn to take the exam. There, candidates log in to the COMMENTS section below (they can use a Disqus, Google, OpenID, Twitter, or Yahoo! account). After logging in, candidates ask questions, clearly stating their full name, course, and major, then submit their questions. Each candidate is allowed to ask multiple questions, but questions must be submitted separately; NO more than one question can be submitted at a time. Example:

After asking a question or presenting a scenario, candidates should click the "Exit" button if they are sharing a computer.
The comments section below only accepts questions and scenarios submitted for the competition. Other content or questions that do not comply with the rules will be deleted without prior notice.But

4. Online evaluation methods
The audience presses the button.GoodWithin the question and scenario section, the organizers will award prizes based on the number of people who rate the question or scenario as "Good". Evaluators do not need to log into the system.
