The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, announces the 2024 postgraduate admissions for foreign students according to the following details:

II. Eligibility Requirements for TrainingPossessing sufficient academic and professional qualifications and capabilities to meet the learning and research requirements of the training program at each level:
a. For master's degree level:Graduates with a university degree (or equivalent or higher) in a relevant field (for research-oriented master's programs, a GPA of "good" or higher is required, or relevant scientific publications related to the field of study/research are necessary) and meeting other admission requirements of the training institution for the program they are applying for;
b. For doctoral level:Graduates with a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with a GPA of Excellent or higher in a relevant field/specialization, or a qualification equivalent to level 7 according to the Vietnamese National Qualifications Framework in certain specialized fields relevant to the doctoral program, meeting the requirements regarding research experience, scientific publications, research proposal, letters of recommendation, and other admission requirements of the training institution for the program they are applying for;
c. Possess sufficient Vietnamese language proficiency to meet the learning and research requirements of the training program.
d. Possess sufficient health to study and conduct research, as certified by competent health authorities.
e. Possess sufficient financial resources to cover tuition, research, and living expenses in Vietnam for the corresponding period of study.
f. A clean personal record, not currently serving a criminal sentence, and not having violated the laws of Vietnam or the host country.
e. Complete the refresher course before submitting your application.
III. Admission methods and timeline
1. Application submission methods and required documents:
1.1. Application submission method:Sinh viên quốc tế nộp hồ sơ bản mềm qua email: study@ussh.edu.vn và hồ sơ bản cứng qua địa chỉ: Phòng Đào tạo – Bộ phận Đào tạo Quốc tế, Phòng 207 nhà E, Trường Đại học Khoa học Xã hội và Nhân văn, 336 Nguyễn Trãi, Thanh Xuân, Thanh Xuân Trung, Hà Nội, Việt Nam.
1.2. Document requirements:
- Đơn đăng kí theo mẫu
- Bản sao công chứng và dịch thuật sang tiếng Anh hoặc tiếng Việt bằng tốt nghiệp và bảng điểm cử nhân (đối với trình độ thạc sĩ). Đối với các văn bằng được cấp ngoài lãnh thổ Việt Nam cần có hợp pháp hóa lãnh sự.
- Bản sao công chứng và dịch thuật sang tiếng Anh hoặc tiếng Việt bằng tốt nghiệp và bảng điểm thạc sĩ (đối với trình độ tiến sĩ). Đối với các văn bằng được cấp ngoài lãnh thổ Việt Nam cần có hợp pháp hóa lãnh sự.
- Bản sao công chứng chứng nhận hoàn thành khóa học Bổ túc kiến thức (nếu thí sinh phải học)
- Đối với hồ sơ nộp xét tuyển bậc tiến sĩ: cần nộp đề cương nghiên cứu viết bằng tiếng Việt hoặc tiếng Anh, nghiên cứu trong chương trình và tối thiểu 01 công bố khoa học (nếu thuộc đối tượng được quy định tại Quy chế đào tạo tiến sĩ hiện hành của ĐHQGHN). Công bố khoa học có thể là bài báo thuộc tạp chí khoa học chuyên ngành hoặc báo cáo khoa học đăng trong kỷ yếu của các hội nghị, hội thảo khoa học quốc gia hoặc quốc tế có phản biện, có mã số xuất bản ISBN liên quan đến lĩnh vực hoặc đề tài nghiên cứu, được hội đồng chức danh giáo sư, phó giáo sư của ngành/liên ngành công nhận; thư giới thiệu của ít nhất 01 nhà khoa học có chức danh giáo sư, phó giáo sư hoặc học vị tiến sĩ khoa học, tiến sĩ;
- Bản sao công chứng chứng chỉ tiếng Việt đạt trình độ tối thiểu bậc 4 theo Khung năng lực tiếng Việt dùng cho người nước ngoài được Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo Việt Nam công nhận hoặc đã tốt nghiệp đại học hoặc trình độ tương đương trở lên mà chương trình đào tạo được giảng dạy bằng tiếng Việt. Tham khảo phụ lục 3 – Danh sách các cơ sở cấp chứng chỉ tiếng Việt được công nhận trong tuyển sinh thạc sĩ, tiến sĩ tại ĐHQGHN.
- Kế hoạch học tập
- Giấy khám sức khỏe do cơ sở y tế có thẩm quyền của nước gửi đào tạo hoặc cơ sở y tế cấp tỉnh, thành phố hoặc Trung ương của Việt Nam chứng nhận đủ sức khỏe để học tập được cấp không quá 06 tháng tính đến ngày nộp hồ sơ.
- Bản sao giấy tờ minh chứng về tài chính đảm bảo cho học tập, nghiên cứu và sinh hoạt tại Việt Nam.
- A copy of your passport valid for the entire duration of your studies in Vietnam or for at least one year from your expected arrival date in Vietnam.
- 4x6 photo
(Three sets of application documents are required for master's degrees and five sets for doctoral degrees.)1.3. Timeline for reviewing applications and announcing results:
IV. Study Plan
1. Enrollment period:Phase 1 is expected to take place around July 2024 and Phase 2 around November 2024.
2. Training duration:- Standard duration of master's degree training: 2 years
- Standard duration of doctoral training: 3 years
Successful applicants will be officially recognized as graduate students and doctoral candidates after completing the enrollment and tuition payment procedures.
V. Tuition Fee Information(Based on Decision No. 2440/QD-XHNV dated July 7, 2023, regarding the regulation of tuition fees for foreign students in various training programs and levels)
1.1. Master's degree tuition fees: 67,500,000 VND/year/student
1.2. Doctoral tuition fees:90,000,000 VND/year/student
