Based on the 2012 Regulations on University and College Admissions of the Ministry of Education and Training and the 2012 University Admission Guidelines of Hanoi National University, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities announces the direct admission, priority admission, and regular admission to the University's academic programs.
1. Direct admission
1.1. Eligible candidates for direct admission- Candidates in the Olympic team who have graduated from high school. - Candidates who won first, second, or third prize in the national excellent student selection exam and have graduated from high school.

a) Direct admission application documents:- Application form for direct admission (according to the mẫu of the Ministry of Education and Training); - Photocopy (notarized) of the certificate of membership in the national team participating in the International Olympiad; certificate of winning a prize in the national high school student excellence competition. - High school graduation certificate from 2012; - Two envelopes with stamps affixed and clearly stating the candidate's contact address and phone number; - Two 4 x 6 cm portrait photos.
b) Application submission deadlineBefore June 20, 2012, candidates must submit their applications for direct admission to the Department of Education and Training.
c) Direct admission fee: 15,000 VND/candidate/application.
2. Priority in admission
2.1. Priority Admission CategoriesCandidates are not eligible for direct admission if they register for the university entrance exam with the required number of subjects according to the common exam syllabus, achieve a score at or above the university's minimum admission score, and do not receive a score of 0 in any subject.

2.4. Application procedures and deadlinespriority admission
a) Priority admission application- Priority admission application form (according to the mẫu of the Ministry of Education and Training); - Photocopy (notarized) of the certificate of winning an award in the national high school student excellence competition.
b) Deadline for submitting priority admission applications- From March 15th to April 16th, 2012: Candidates submit priority admission applications along with university/college entrance exam applications at local registration centers. - From April 17th to 5:00 PM on April 23rd, 2012: Candidates submit applications directly at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Room 604B, Building E, 336 Nguyen Trai, Hanoi).
3. Selection of candidates under Resolution 30a/2008/NQ-CP
3.1. Eligibility CriteriaCandidates who are ethnic minorities, or who have had permanent residence for 3 years or more, as of the date of application submission, in poor districts as defined in Resolution No. 30a/2008/NQ-CP dated December 27, 2008 of the Government, are eligible to register for admission if they have studied for the last 3 years of high school and graduated in these districts.
3.2. Admission RequirementsCandidates must have achieved a GPA of "good" or higher in all three years of high school (grades 10, 11, and 12) and a GPA of "good" or higher upon graduation from high school.

In the event that the number of applicants exceeds the announced quota, the school will consider the average GPA of the following subjects in grade 12: Literature, History, Geography, and Mathematics, selecting from the highest scores until the quota is filled.

4. Admission of candidates with disabilities.
4.1. Eligibility CriteriaCandidates with severe disabilities who are unable to independently perform daily personal care activities, have graduated from high school, and have a health certificate from a medical assessment board or a provincial or centrally-administered city-level hospital or higher, are eligible. The school does not offer training programs for visually or hearing impaired candidates.
4.2 Application documents- Application form (according to the Ministry of Education and Training's template); - Photocopy (notarized) of high school diploma/certificate of graduation or equivalent and photocopy (notarized) of high school transcript; - High school's assessment of the candidate's academic ability, signed and stamped by the principal; - Photocopy (notarized) of a certificate from a medical examination board or provincial/city-level hospital or higher regarding the candidate's health status, clearly stating the candidate's ability to care for daily personal needs, and the original for verification (the original will be returned after the application is verified); - Two stamped envelopes with the candidate's contact address and phone number clearly written; - Two 4 x 6 cm portrait photos.
4.3.
