On the morning of March 5, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities solemnly held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Director of Hanoi National University appointing Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh and Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa as Vice Rectors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Kim Son – Vice Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Board of Directors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and leaders of the university's affiliated units. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Kim Son presented the appointment decisions to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa. Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Kim Son congratulated Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa and expressed his confidence in the capabilities, dedication, and management experience of the two associate professors, believing they will work together with the leadership of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to further develop the university. On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Kim Son also expressed his deep gratitude to all the staff and faculty of the university for their support and assistance in successfully completing his duties as Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities previously; and stated that the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will always be a familiar and cherished place for Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Kim Son.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh thanked the Vietnam National University, Hanoi and all the staff and faculty of the University for their trust and affirmed that he would continue to strive to contribute to the overall development of the University. On behalf of all the staff and students of the University, Professor Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector - congratulated Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh and Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa on their appointment as Vice Rectors. In his speech, the Rector emphasized: The development orientation of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities until 2020 is to strive to be among the top 200 universities in Asia, and he hoped that Associate Professor Pham Quang Minh and Associate Professor Tran Thi Minh Hoa would leverage their strengths and enhance resources to further accelerate the University's development.
