The ceremony to award scholarships and Master I degrees for the Master's program in Organizational Management (MADO) and Child and Adolescent Development Psychology (PDEA) for the 4th and 5th courses of the 2011-2012 academic year took place solemnly on April 6, 2012. Attending the ceremony were the Vice Rector, MADO Scientific Officer, representatives of Toulouse II Le Mirail University (France), Director of the Francophone University Agency for Asia and the Pacific (AUF), representatives of the French University Center in Hanoi (PUF), representatives of the French Embassy, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu, Vice Rector of the School, Dr. Trinh Van Tung, Head of the School's French Language, leaders of relevant functional departments and MADO and PDEA students. The scholarships from PUF and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities were awarded to 8 students of the MADO program and 3 students of the PDEA program who achieved high academic results in the first semester of the 2011-2012 school year. The scholarships are divided into three levels, specifically: level 1: 10 million VND; level 2: 5.0 million VND and level 3: 2.5 million VND. MADO and PDEA are international quality joint training programs between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU and Toulouse II Le Mirail University in coordination within the framework of AUF and PUF, implemented since 2007 with the aim of training high-quality human resources and transferring training technology. Up to now, these two programs have trained 5 courses with about 190 students, of which 135 students have graduated with international qualifications. After graduation, 100% of students quickly found suitable jobs within 5 months or moved to other more attractive jobs with much higher income. To continue recruiting the 6th course starting from the 2012-2013 school year (expected to enroll 2 batches in June 2012 and September 2012), the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, together with its partner, Toulouse Le Mirail University, is negotiating scholarships and has reached a basic agreement on scholarship policies for different subjects. In particular, these are two programs that prepare candidates for doctoral studies in developed French-speaking countries.
