03 projects were awarded the 2014 VNU Science and Technology Award

On December 11, 2014, the Director of Vietnam National University, Hanoi signed a decision to award the 2014 VNU Outstanding Science and Technology Project Award to 03 projects/groups of projects; and to award the VNU Young Scientists Science and Technology Project Award to 03 authors/groups of authors who are scientific staff of Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

03 projects were awarded the 2014 VNU Science and Technology Award

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities has 03 scientists receiving these awards. They are:

- Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Kim with the project "Van Don - Vietnam's international commercial port" - Outstanding Science and Technology Project Award of VNU in 2014.

- MSc. Bui Huu Tien with the work "Dong Dau Culture Ceramic Patterns" - Science and Technology Award for Young Scientists of VNU in 2014.

- Dr. Nguyen Tuan Cuong with the work "Structural representation of Vietnamese Nom characters" - Award for Science and Technology Works of young scientists of VNU in 2014.

The VNU Outstanding Science and Technology Award is presented annually to encourage and honor the contributions of scientists, contributing to building a favorable scientific environment and promoting the development of VNU’s science and technology potential. The Young Scientist Award is presented every two years for potential science and technology works by authors under 35 years of age.
