18 excellent employees of Samsung Electronics Bac Ninh graduated from short-term Korean language course 18

The Korean language course for Samsung Electronics Bac Ninh's elite employees is a Korean language training cooperation program between Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the Department of Korean Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Vice Principal of the School, Mr. Cho Ho-seok - Deputy General Director of Samsung Electronics Vietnam, Mr. Kim Jin Woo - Head of Human Resources Department of Samsung Electronics Vietnam. The ceremony also had the presence of all teachers participating in teaching and 18 students trained in this course.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh expressed his excitement when all the students graduated: “I am very happy that all 18 students of this course achieved very high results after the final exam. This is a good sign showing that the efforts of the students and lecturers have been rewarded appropriately. I highly appreciate the cooperation between the company and the Department of Korean Studies, Faculty of Oriental Studies of our school. I also hope that from here on, many cooperation opportunities will open up between the company and the school.”

In response to the sincerity from the Vice Principal, Mr. Cho Ho-seok thanked the School and the teachers for always being enthusiastic and caring for the students who are employees of the company: "On the opening day, I still saw faces bowed down, showing obvious anxiety, but today I saw confidence in the eyes of our employees. I would like to express my deepest thanks to the Vice Principal and the teachers in the Faculty of Oriental Studies for trying to create the best conditions in terms of facilities and teaching staff for our employees."

The first Korean language course for elite employees of Samsung Electronics Bac Ninh opened on March 16, 2015 and lasted for 12 weeks. Here, the company's employees studied with both Vietnamese and native teachers. All expenses for students were paid by the company.

The graduation of all 18 students of Samsung Electronics Bac Ninh after the first course marked a great success in the training cooperation between Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The second course is expected to open in early July.
