The workshop was organized by the Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in collaboration with the KAS Institute (Germany) on June 10, 2015. Below are some photos from the workshop.

Overview of the workshop

Ms. Rabea Beauer, Head Representative of KAS Institute (Germany) in Hanoi, delivered the opening remarks at the workshop.

Dr. Bui Chi Trung (left) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong are chairing the workshop.

Mr. Luong Dinh Phuc, representing the Ministry of Information and Communications, is presenting his paper at the conference.

Delegates asked questions and exchanged views at the workshop.

Richard Kilborn, Professor Emeritus, Department of Media and Culture, University of Stirling (UK), offers research experience in the UK.

Journalist Huu Tho is sharing some examples of how misinformation manifests in the press today.

Dr. Do Anh Duc presented a paper titled "Moral Dangers and the Reflection in the Press."

Mr. Do Van Dung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre newspaper, shared his experience on the issue of journalistic ethics.

MSc. Nguyen Trung Thanh (Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) shared his experience through research on German journalism.

Journalist Le Quang Minh (Vietnam Television) shared his specific research through the "Issues Today" program on VTV1.

Dr. Tran Thi Tri, Director of VOV2, presented a paper on "Principles of Professional Ethics and Sharing Experiences of VOV".

MSc. Nguyen Minh (Faculty of Journalism and Communication, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) shared research on a typical case of journalistic ethics when reporting on the Ebola pandemic.

Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong summarized the workshop.
