On the afternoon of December 5, 2012, 40 certificates and 22 diplomas were awarded to students at the closing ceremony of the short-term course on Religion and the Rule of Law, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
On the afternoon of December 5, 2012, 40 certificates and 22 diplomas were awarded to students at the closing ceremony of the short-term course on Religion and the Rule of Law, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.Speaking at the closing ceremony of the course, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim, Vice Rector of the university, affirmed five successes of the course: rigorous and meticulous organization; high-quality curriculum; attracting leading domestic and international experts to teach; highly qualified participants from various ministries, departments, and localities across the country, representing diverse fields of management, practice, and research; and high achievement of course results, as desired by the university and the organizing committee. On behalf of the Party Committee and the University's Board of Directors, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Kim expressed gratitude to the domestic and international lecturers, the organizing committee, and relevant agencies for facilitating the successful organization of the course. The Vice Rector hoped that the cooperative relationship between scientific institutions would develop sustainably for the purpose of scientific achievement and for the spirit of Vietnam's integration into the domestic and international academic environment. The short-term course on Religion and the Rule of Law was jointly organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, with Brigham Young University (USA) and the Institute for Global Engagement (USA). Over the 8 consecutive days of the course, starting on November 26, 2012, participants listened to 8 lectures by leading experts on religion and the rule of law. Each lecture featured lively discussions and exchanges, totaling nearly 100 interactions.
