“International Cultural Festival” is an annual festival of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language. This is an opportunity for students to introduce to friends from other countries the traditional culture of their country, exchange and learn, strengthen friendship and solidarity between countries.Attending the ceremony were Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa - Vice Principal, Mr. Nguyen Hong Nguyen - representative of the International Student Service Center and all lecturers and students of the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language. Continuing the tradition, this year's festival was held on December 20 in the bustling atmosphere of welcoming the new year 2013 with many new forms. The highlight of this year's festival was that guests had the opportunity to visit and enjoy the culture and cuisine of the countries: Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Turkey, Mongolia, Poland, Mozambique... at the impressively decorated exhibition booths. Among them, the dishes of Chinese and Mongolian students attracted a lot of attention from everyone with their novelty and appeal. The festival was also more exciting and meaningful with the participation of the "Generous booth" of Lao students because the dishes were completely free. Following the camp was the cultural exchange program to welcome the new year in the evening with a variety of performances. Impressing from the very first minutes was the dance “Marabenta” by Mozambican students. The gentle, emotional duet of Chinese students and the truly explosive “Nice my country” by Mongolian students. Adding to the richness of the exchange were traditional Vietnamese performances with the play “Quan Am Thi Kinh”, the combination of Michael’s family or the choir “Noi vong tay lon” by students from more than 10 countries around the world… “International Cultural Festival” is an opportunity for students and foreign students studying Vietnamese at the faculty to better understand Vietnamese culture. This is also a bridge connecting the feelings of teachers and students and friends near and far.
