First working session in Thanh Xuan commune

This morning, July 19, 2011, the volunteer student team of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities operating in Thanh Xuan commune (Soc Son - Hanoi) launched its first working session in Trung village - one of 10 villages in the commune.30 members of the labor team were present very early. With the characteristic of a team with many male students, the work went quite smoothly. The whole team swept all the main roads of the village, cleared bushes, cleaned sewers, collected garbage... The villagers were very enthusiastic about the volunteer team's activities. Ms. Nguyen Thi Sot - a villager happily said: "Young volunteers come here to help the village, I am very happy. I hope that next year the children will come back here, live in this village, I promise to help them with all my might!". The labor session ended at 11:30, the village roads were clean and clear, the warm feelings of the villagers seemed to dispel the feeling of fatigue and heat. Mr. Nguyen Van Sang - Secretary of the Commune Youth Union gave the whole team a lot of fruits, both to encourage and boost their spirit, and as a thank you for the tireless efforts and hard work of all 30 members in the first working session this morning. He said warmly: Although the labor force is not really great, the important thing is that you have created trust and love among the people. That is the most valuable achievement.
