Signed a cooperation agreement with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Vietnam.

On July 19th, Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Rector of the University - held a meeting and working session with Mr. Seyed Javad Ghanvam Shahidi - Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Vietnam.During the meeting, leaders from both sides exchanged views and signed a cooperation agreement between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Vietnam. The agreement focuses on the following key areas: opening short-term training courses for students of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; conducting exchange programs between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Iranian universities through the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam; establishing a Vietnamese Language and Culture Center in Teeheran; jointly organizing seminars, workshops, exchanging documents, and opening short-term training courses on Persian; the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will provide scholarships for two Iranian students to study Vietnamese Language and Culture at the University; and the Iranian Embassy will support the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in research activities and partner search. The agreement is valid for five years.
